new Leeroy(sl99)

so i havent played with my leeroy for a while and i decided i might as well make a leeroy build for sl 99 so i can get more playtime with it since events and the 2v2s are sl 99. this is him(its actually a she) at sl 55 which im gonna be using for next week's event looks llike this http://mmdks.com/z5c then its gonna look like this http://mmdks.com/z5f i know Leeroy only hass 34 str but the 1h r2 is really useful and it adds more versitality to grant, i was thinking about this http://mmdks.com/z5i , what do you guys think? anyone that has an sl99 Leeroy?

Giant hands actually look good with paladin armor, and they give you 61 poise. Low for mid rolling in my opinion but whatever. Dont get trolled by from's 52 poise!!!!! The Hand Axe is useful thanks for reminding me about it.

^ The Giant's leggings do too. The Paladin and SK set are the only things I'll mix it with to look visually acceptable.

I actually don't use the crossbow in the left hand, I use another talisman. That way I can cast with any hand, and I can confuse my enemy, they won't be expecting I have another talisman in the opposite hand and works well for surprises.

I'm actually doing that build (except with 10 DEX and 29 VIT). But go ahead and make, there is enough space for 2 Leeroys in Lordran. Though keep in mind this: I'm the only true Leeroy. Read my sign if you have any doubts.

That's funny. I dislike the Paladin leggings because they're too thin. One of my favorite armor combos is the Giant's helm, SK chest, Havel's gauntlets, and Giant's leggings.

@chiz im pretty sure i was the first leeroy cosplayer, many a forumnite have gone splat to my beloved grant, true story. i myself think Leeroy should have 50 str because only badasses should be able to 1h the grant and i think we can all agree that Leeroy is a badass and FROM sucks for having Roy(yes i called him Roy) have only 34 str. alas, i doubt we can make a build worthy of the great Roy.

first time i saw him i actually had 50 str and kick him in the balls and he died, he didnt even had the chance to say hi. i did lose grant and sanctus though, i had to settle with the DGM(which has won me more fight than anything else in the game.

^ Once I got my own Leeroy-ish toon closer to the SL I planned to leave him at, I ended up swapping out the Grant for the DGA. With such high STR and FTH I was doing ridiculous amounts of damage with DMB and the DGA. Way more than I was with the Grant. Just seemed silly not to go that way.

Yeah, grant is pretty weak for what it is, I wish they wouldve upped the scaling with recent patches, an S for str wouldn't hurt. Btw I also hate the giaNt leggings, the paladin legging look really good k n females though.

I only like them with the couple things I listed. I don't think I have a single heavy female toon. Don't know that I've ever seen the Paladin leggings on one. And yeah, the Grant's scaling limitations are a bit silly. Anything that requires 50 of a stat to use should have an S IMO.

Actually now that I'm thinking about it, I think I may have done that the other way around. I think it's Giant's helm, SK breastplate, Giant's gauntlets, and Havel's leggings. I initially had the Giant's leggings on that toon too, but the patch of blue fabric on the butt was annoying me. I do like it with the Paladin set though. It's way better defensively than the Paladin leggings, and you can't even really see it under the large chestpiece. If anything I kinda wish the Paladin set was a bit of a mellower color. I love the helmet design, and it just doesn't go with anything because of it's bright yellow coloring. I really hope we get some color customization in DkS2

LEEROY LOOKS AWESOME, YOU'RE JUST JEALOUS

i have always loved the whole set but specially the helmet and the armor. lately i have been into full sets, i have to wear a full set no mix and matching.

I really enjoy the whole mixing-matching element. It's just one of those creative aspects of making toons that I love. Not only visually, but finding elements that all work together to best compliment your stats/weight/poise/etc

ok so i didnt wanna make another thread so im posting here. i got this right nowhttp://mmdks.com/zw2 , dragon cove3 and will med roll sometimes with 61 poise to tank two hits from reg swords, im not gonna put any more points in end but i got 9 points left, i guess i should just dump everything in vit? dont really care about att, maybe one for fire surge to counter backtabs but im not sure, what do you guys think?

Ditch Cloranthy and put on FAP, that ring is useless when you can eat blossoms. With the extra equipload either go Wolf ring or more armor. The rest to Vit.
