ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! [SL99] ...and rant?

I have had it with these BS fishing fishers on my BS fishing fished Tank!
It's time to bring out the TWoP.

These are the top 3 reasons why no one uses Tanks + Slow Weapons + Greatshields for anything other than fishing:

1) It gets you Backstabbed
2) It gets you Backstabbed
3) IT GETS YOU BACKSTABBED!

So, that's the way they want to play with me (understandable), so be it. It is time people knew the true Terror of a Fat Roller.

I'd never make a DEX build again if backstabs had been made better.

Reference to snakes on a place acknowledged.

I'm actually seeing more players using strength builds and heavy weapons now. It just takes a bit of knowledge with your weapon for you to counter BS fishers.

@grin while I do agree that you can counter bs fishing it is really hard when you come up against a decent pvp'er that will do nothing but try to roll bs you, its just boring and kinda lame tbh. I also have started using the stone gs from time to time for that reason, I gotta tell you they do not like that and some of them end up healing lol.

I just hope they don't take the Bandit Knife down when they (hopefully) tone down BSing in DkS2.

Unlock from target and swing where you predict they will be while they circle you for a back stab. With practice you can kill all those bs fishers and dead angle or stunlock anyone else you see. Never underestimate a tank. It's a bad idea. Plus with practice you can be the offensive one. Oh, they have DMB on their Falchion and are ninja flipping towards you? That's cute. Just use those two hand strong attacks to surprise those people.

I honestly think Daggers should get even more critical boosts, so much that they outdamage Rapiers for backstabs and parries.

Agreed. Daggers should minimum be 120% for a backstab/riposte, with it going up to 200%.

We need Stealth Assassins that aren't Mages.

makes sense that they're have better crits but they really should get rid of the hornet ring(topic for another day, or thread)
@sir I've fough seig and he's very good and im sure he wouldn't fall for those noobs that just fish for a bs, I think he was talking about the people I mentioned on my last post, I wanna see you fight them over and over again and not get irritated.

It doesn't work like that Archmage. These BS fishers either hold their shield and backstab me extremely easily if I even try the Dragon Greataxe or just poise backstab me since the Stone GS doesn't have remarkable damage (I can counter obvious BS attempts [you know strafing], but otherwise it is a mind game on their favor). I have tried to unlock aim, but the fact is that the Flip has just enough I-frames that even if I do unlock and hit, I still can't "hit" them. It is extremely tedious to fight with the odds being highly in their favor.

I mean, 90% of the time a tank is the one on the defensive? This is madness! I'm a tank, you should be giving ground to me at close range, not the other way around!

I get backstabbed for merely attacking! I attack, they roll stab or they block and stab because of the greataxes slow follow-ups.

yep, pretty much how I feel about tanking which is why I rarely do it except when I cosplay. they really need to make the greatshields better too and get rid of the wog dead angles, makes no damn sense. keep the shotel cause I love parrying that r2 lol

Yeah.....still have yet to really make a strategy against DWGR that actually works all the time. Or a dead-angled Wrath of the gods. Those are the two things that kill me the most while I am a tank. And if unlocking doesn't work my only suggestion in make use of that Tranquil walk of peace effect if you can, even though most everyone runs as they see you cast it or back stab you as you do it.

Also, your gonads are as big a boulders...same goes for anyone who fat rolls seriously. I always had to have a 5 minute conversation in my head to take off the DWGR....it was a 2 hour conversation to make a mid-roller....
