Indeed. I'm glad that you feel you have been helped. however I would always say take revelations that come from others with a pinch of salt and alot of analysis.

The revelation in question, debbie downer, (kidding) was simply that its ok to be what I am.
To use an obvious example, If it bothers me that I lack social skills, I should work to improve, but at the same time I shouldn't feel bad or guilty because it is not a great strength, nor is it likely to be. (where I grew up at least, not being an extrovert is akin to being a meg from family guy, and 22 years of such treatment, both in person and in the media, is screwing with my head.
To be constantly told everything you are is wrong is not fun. i'm sure most anybody can grasp at least some of how that would feel. I just don't show it.
Now that you all know way more than is necessary, I'm going to bed.

No problem man. You know it didn't even occur to me until just now that he's pouring estus on his throat. That's actually pretty funny.

I'm officially somebody's uncle. That's both fantastically wonderful and terrifying at the same time. This calls for a big smelly cigar.

Older brother. All good man. And thanks. Gorgeous healthy little baby boy. It's funny how you don't really appreciate the true beauty of babies until there's one had by someone you've known your whole life.
Also, in case anyone's interested. I've just discovered that Amnesia: The Dark Descent is on sale on steam right now. It's only $9. I'm totally going to grab that when I get home from work tonight, and judging by what I've heard people say, will probably spend the evening quietly whimpering in fear.

Lol...Whoops! I was just going through baby pictures of my daughter since she's about to turn three and yeah, the closer it is the bigger the difference. I can't tell you how many baby pictures I've seen and not given a crap about. Pictures of her though, they're something special

^ Right. People show me their baby pictures and it's like "uh huh, uh huh, awesome..." But when it's the child of someone close to you it starts to mean something different.

My nephew in a Ghostbusters costume? AMAZING!!!
Still though.....**** Anne Geddes

Yeah, I know what you're talking about. Not my favorite thing in the world either.
My brother got me a 2013 calendar called "Awkward Pet Photos." It's really funny. Like the people who dress their cats up like little people and pose with them.

Yeah, being an uncle is fun once the kid gets out of the vegetable state and goes into hyper-run-EVERYWHERE state. Being able to play with the kid and then hand him over to mom and dad when he starts smelling funny is also really cool.

Re: Random Off-Topic
So I was just walking home from work, in the snow, in the freezing cold, thinking about how much I miss my car. I haven't had a vehicle in a few years now, and I was thinking about all the things I miss about it, like being able to listen to music as loud as I want without having to worry about my neighbors, and drive out to places where I like to go hiking, and just going out for cruises and driving way too fast on back roads to blow off steam, and I got home and checked my mailbox and got a letter in the mail from the lawyer who handled my grandmother's estate when she passed in July, with a check in it for enough money to buy myself a new car. It's been such an amazingly wonderful day. Just goes to show that things can't be miserable all the time.

Re: Random Off-Topic
A car is so much more than just a box with wheels. It's freedom man. I know that sounds a little overly dramatic, but it's true. You really don't appreciate how free it makes you until you have to use public transportation to go grocery shopping. It's lame for so many reasons. Mostly it just makes me feel like I'm stuck wherever I am. I'm really excited to car shop.
One of the nicest parts about it is that I didn't know it was coming at all. I never got to see the will because I live really far away from most of the family, so I was only down there for the day of the funeral. I had thought I might be getting something, but because it happened a few months ago now I had just assumed that she didn't have the money to leave all the grandchildren anything. And that was completely fine. I had accepted it, and it wasn't a big deal at all. Such a nice surprise.

It's just the way that it all happened made me feel like she was looking out for me. Like she could tell that I was unhappy walking home in the cold and made it better for me. It was a nice feeling.

It was really hard to watch my old car go. Especially considering I basically just stood on the side of the road and watched it burn away to nothing. It literally exploded. It was pretty metal, but still sucked.

I personally love to drive. I wish the roads were clear of everyone so I could just drive forever in total peace and tranquility.

^ That's why you drive late at night. I used to work the night shift as a security guard at a resort hotel that was a good 40 miles away from where I live, so I had to drive that 40 miles home every night at night 4am. I used to love it. I'd drive like 90 miles an hour the whole way and nobody was ever around to get in my way. It's a great way to unwind after work.
