Low Lvl Forest Invaders

I was surprised at the constant invasions I get with my lvl 22 warrior in the Forest.

I have a lvl 22 Sunbro I use to help in the early part of the game. One evening I was getting very little action in my normal haunts, so I decided to do some practicing with the NPCs in the Forest. No sooner had I entered and engaged the sorcerer, when the fog gate came up and didn't go down again until I was killed on my 5th invasion.

I have since tried again and have met with the same results each time. Now it is still the Forest and the hunters are not bowing, teaming up, and will BS fish at times, but it makes for an active evening. A lot of these invaders are in some pretty basic gear. A few were even using the drake sword. My guess, they are new characters trying for the ring of fog early in their game. I'm only too happy to give them there shot at getting closer to that goal. I'm sure I'm a lot more fun to invade then the lvl 200 ganker squad that make up the majority of their invasions.

I prefer winding up against 2 man gank squads than low level players. I feel bad torching a sub-50 level player with maxed pyros, and I get less souls.

With gank squads, waiting for help and then tempest-destroying them or fighting someone more similarly leveled to me is much preferred.

My warrior has an attunment of 8. No pyro from me. All of my victories have netted me on average about 2500 to 3000 souls a fight, so the invaders appear to be pretty close to my level. I need around 3400 for my next level. Which means they get 340 souls for their trouble. As for quipment... eh... it's the Forest. You shouldn't play there unless you're equiped properly.
