This is how i felt, trying to get Seath's/Kalameet's tail:

This is a perfect summary of me trying to nab Kalameet's tail. I swear he turns faster than Ornstein

lolololol, looks like those dragons love to troll, that is how my brother felt when he was trying to get the obsidian greatsword.

Try getting the Guardian tail with a Painting Guardian Sword...

I am summoning you for Kalameet from now on. I always 1 shot the Guardian Tail , but Kalameet always takes 3 hits , which is a life time due to him being the King of all Trolls ever in all of Trolldom.

mostly im succesful due to summon choice, i either summon a bow user (pharis or goughs bow are best) or act as the ranged user my self, having a dedicated ranged fighter distracts kalameet from the melee'ers and fairly often triggers his tail attacks, plus if kalameet is focused on the melee'ers the archer can shoot the tail. also pole arms like the blk knight halberd are best in my experience for cutting his tail.

Seath has always been kinda easy for me but that is exactly how I feel anytime I'm trying for Kalameet or the *Guardian... And then Priscilla makes me feel like whiny freakin' Luke with the blaster shield down.

*Great Combustion worked really well in acquiring the S. Guardian's tail whip.

a two handed strong attack from a medium to large size weapon can take off priscys tail in one go, also phantoms can attack the tail and not aggro her(inflicts no damage eiher but it seems to help with cutting it.). then you can wind up your biggest hit on the tail and get it in one hit.

Thanks. I've tried that everytime. I must miss the sweet spot cuz every time I hit her and she's like, "Now you see me... now you don't". Then I'm watching footsteps, throwing fire, and chewing red grass.

I always able to make her turn visible after cutting her down with the Falchion then i use Fire Tempest and it gets me the dagger everytime. I suppose it's because the FT hits all around her so it's kinda easy.

I have troubles getting Priscilla's tail, since she has quite little HP, but the host usually cuts it off with the initial attack.

Sanctuary Guardian is quite easy for me as an Dex build. I just wait for him to do one of his head attacks, when he either tries to ram you with his horns or fly at you, evade it and rush to cut it's tail while it recovers.

Seath is...well it depends. If I'm alone, I'll lure him into an attack, rush behind him and attack. It usually takes some time, but it's safe.
However if my host is stupid it usually fails. I either try to aggro him for host to cut, or the other way around, but sometimes, host just don't know what to do and Seath just turns around like a windmill.

Kalameet is hard for me as I don't do DLC areas much thanks to the glitch there on PS3. I don't know how to lure him to do one of his attacks when he puts his tail on the ground for me to cut it, so it usually takes me a lot of time. I use katanas and curved swords, so hitting his tail while it's up is impossible (maybe Washing Pole?).
I could do it with a bow I guess, but I never tried. I only tried to kill him with a bow, without asking Gough for help and to shoot him in his eye, just to see if something happens.

i've had tails just simply not drop off for me, that really sucks. i killed the Gapping Dragon with a +5 black knight halberd, hitting nothing but its tail and it still didn't drop. usually it only takes 2 hits when using the bkh. Priscilla's tail is really hard to get for me, it never drops on the initial hit for me, i've hit her tail with a +5 dragon greatsword 2 handed power attack (took almost half her life away) and nothing…litteraly.

I've got one to spare if you want it?

Yea I take it back this is me trying to take the 2nd Guardian tail from the twins without sniping one down, followed by a shocking death.
