That's all you're looking for. This particular method has no tell it's going to occur, it will just happen.

Oh, okay, I see what you mean. That really sucks. Well, I picked up a copy of Dragon's Dogma in case the PvP gets broken. I was never that great to begin with, but this is just too much. I swear I'm going to joing the Gravelords and then use Chameleon spell every time these wanks invade me. Or just stick with really low level coop.

I've never been "good" at pvp. I've always enjoyed it. Until people started fishing for backstabs, then they started abusing lag/latency for crazy dead angle backstabbing. Then the dragon head. The bow swap. The 2x now unintended weapon buffing buff glitching. Whats wrong with people. Just play the game. Beat me fairly. I'll be happy. I'm going back to my N64. Forget all this online bullsh!t

Without getting into detail, the tell apparently is a mid or fatroll followed by immediately buffing a weapon that shouldn't otherwise be buffable. They don't need to be locked on or even see you before they can do it. It doesn't give you much warning to work with, 'cept maybe a charge or spell attack during the weapon buff if you are close enough to see what they are doing. Kinda sick that the much desired DWGR nerf has led indirectly to another terrible glitch, but here we are.

As an aside, this is the sort of thing that caused me to focus nearly exclusively on coop. Losing pvp duels to glitchers is annoying but not going to ruin your day or make you question your competence. But there are a lot of newer players out there (I still run into noobs constantly in coop) who have zero chance against this. They won't "learn" PvP from getting gutted by glitchers in a couple of swings, they'll just quit. So I do what I can to even the odds for them in hopes some of those wee baby turtles make it all the way to the sea. As the saying goes, if you can't do something smart, do something right.

I do think a good amount of people would actually leave, a decent amount stopped playing when the BB got removed. Of course that one had far more positive to it than any other glitch. However many come to rely on the glitches in the game.

I've pretty much stopped building since the bb got patched, but otherwise it hasn't affected me much. It almost seemed intentional on the part of the developers, so the real PvP nuts could try new builds and such.

Meh, i think the BB Glitch will return someone will find some obscure way to do it, Just give it time .

And if they truly love the Game they would not stop playing it because some (Gamebreaking) glitch got fixed .
I say they are nothing but talk because i hear all the same Bulldung arguments regarding the BB-Glitch over and over again but lets not get into that .

And personally, i would be glad if some People would leave .
Back in Demons the Community was much smaller and more fun to me and not as bloated as it is (or was a few Months ago) now .

Just tried this on 360...no dice. Looks like it only works on ps3 and maybe pc.

Tried it with Charcoal Pine Resin on PC, and while it looked like the effect was applied to the weapon, nothing happened. The damage didn't increase or anything. Either it only works with spells, or it only works on PS3.

Anyway, liking or not, they need to fix the graphics glitch, so 1.7 is coming

I hope From won't release another patch but instead focus more on the next game and fix whatever problems DkS has. Making another patch is only a temporary way of delaying the inevitable.

If I see this, I won't care. It will just make me feel better when I win. It even gives me an excuse for losing.

Dark Souls turned me off competitive online gaming for good before this. Heh. Welp playing the next one offline to avoid scumbag humanity.

I don't have the time to paint the thousands of Grey Knights I have.
But I find the damn time to do a little bit to each model/a model.
I don't 'cheat' my way around it.

I don't know if this is known but some one was using the spellswap glitch to use the gold tracers combo attack wih the Demons Spear. The guy was swinging that thing around like a madman!

Oh joy, and i was looking forward to a triumphant return to a world without cheaters..

Why the hell do people even look for these things? Do they really get any satisfaction from this? :x
