Iron Flesh deflection on PVP

I was wondering - This magnific spell is so underrated and only a very few players ever use it. What weapons does it not cause deflection on PVP?

anything thats been two handed, doesn't matter what, if its one handed it will bounce if two handed it won't (at least for most things not sure about rapiers or curved swords.)

IIRC, all 1h attacks will bounce off. 2h attacks wont. Oh and spells wont bounce of either (for obvious reasons).

Ohhhhh ok. I thought it would bounce all minor weapons.. Then its not that great unless your oponent does not know that...

I'm pretty sure that some weapons deflect from it even when two handed. I don't use Iron Flesh much, only for trolling, but then most enemies bounce of me, unless they got some high Str weapon.

I clearly remember one guy trying to kill me by two handing Gold Tracer and he still bounced off.

Perhaps it depends on what armor you're wearing, that when you're wearing a high Poise armor it makes more weapons bounce off than wearing little to 0 Poise armor. I haven't tested that out...

Also, take note that when you're using Iron Flesh you have two penalties on you.

First, you can't run, you have to walk, so anyone with at least half a brain will use long range attacks to deal with you. I personally use bow, or fireballs.

Second, you get extra damage from all lightning attacks (which makes sense if your skin is now made from iron), so lightning weapons and ligthning miracles will kill you very quickly.

Thanks sentinel didnt notice the second part. I will try to attack with uchi (5) and Washing pole (8) and will go up in the weight so i can find out.
