Is 120 still the 'go to' pvp level

hey I'm new to the forums, but I am a long time player of the souls series.
I just made a new toon and I'm debating on whether I should leave it at 99 pvp level or go to the 120s. Honestly I'm not a big fan of the 100s pvp range, but I don't want to gimp myself on fighting the most battles possible.

It really depends on if you want to do the Arena or not. Stay 99 if you want to stay in the bracket you're currently in, or go to 120 if you don't care about the Arena.

You should eventually try out the higher ranges man, it is alot of fun.

SL101 is the start of the next bracket, not SL100. Staying at SL99 is pointless.

Ok now i am confused!!! I am SL 100 is nt that the highest braket in the arena? Not 99??

Most players I duel in places like burg or darkroot garden are SL 100. I think it's starting to be much more common than SL 120. In my opinion, SL 100 is much more balanced. There are still a lot of SL 120-130 builds out there, so it really doesn't matter which one you choose, unless you're going to join a fight club or fight in the arena.

But SL 99 gets you classy points.

I duel at 125. I have a 100 for the arena, but I rarely get any action there. I invade at 55, and sometimes at 75.

Also keep in mind that a sl 120 can invade a sl 100, and vice versa, so you will get action either way.

(i prefer pvp below sl 100 as well, much more risk/reward in build archtypes than the hybrids that dominate the 120 range)

I personally am level 400, and i just explore areas slowly and get many invasions.

I duel at 125 I also have some 100's for the arena....but don't go there often or use the 100 builds much since all the people I duel with are 125!

People that duel in the BF or Burg will most likely be 120-130 that bracket will never die IMO!

Its good if you have atleast 1 Sl120 or 125 as Glatts suggests...
If you have friends dueling in that range, you dont wana be left out

I prefer PvPing (both invading and dueling) at lower levels. 55, 100(99) and 80 are what most of my builds are.
You will get PvP no matter what you use. you sl only decides how powerful your build and you opponents build will be. Though you may sometimes get opponents that are nowhere near you sl.

this is the best answer ive got builds going from 40-207 and they all get action lots of it too

I'm level 180 and still get invaded pretty much everywhere, especially the PvP hotspots. Granted, not quite as often as when I was at 120 but still enough to keep things interesting.

I have 55, 75, 100, 120, 125 as my main PvP levels. Good action in all of them. My main PvP toon is 125 though. This is a holdover from DeS.
