Artorias's Greatsword

Is the sword unwieldy? I would like your feedback. Pretty please?

Cursed? Just use Transients
True? WAY too much investment, just get Maneater GS
Abyss? Just used Cursed

abyss is best as i scales to 11 humanity and has the same scaling as the cursed version, plus it has a better moveset (ih r2 spin is pretty good.)

I voted yes that it is good , but I wish the question was more specific. I would personally rank then 1. Abyss 2. Cursed 3. True. Yes technically True is more powerful , but the stat investment needed to make that true is just insane. Love Abyss though , havent used anything else since I got it. Cursed is only slightly better than Great Lord Greatsword and weighs 2 pounds more so meh.

I would only use it for the looks. The moveset of the Cursed and True GS are really sucky especially the one handed R2 attack of the true gs. I do love the spin and somersault moves of the Abyss though.

Overall, they aren't that great. Only for fun or roleplaying.

Abyss is good enough for mid level (maybe 70-80) if you're looking for a strong weapon as it does a good amount of damage with the Humanity Scaling, but starts to lose out at the 120 level against pure Dex/Strength builds or buffers because of the poor scaling.

There are those that also say the True version is best in the game for uber high levels, because it basically scales with everything.

Overall, I only like the Abyss version because I love the moveset, and it's great on my SL65 Artorias They all seem to have ridiculous phantom range though.

Just kidding . I say, there is no way to find out how good a weapon is until you try yourself. Take a shot, invest some stats to use one of them, test the damage in many monsters and if confident, go PVP.

Love them. Three of the coolest-looking swords in the game; that's the important thing.

Very powerful, too. If you're going for a minimal build for PvP they're far from the most efficient choice for the damage you'll get, but if you're just playing Dark Souls and can give them the stats they need they're awesome.
