    I have a claymore that I cant decide whether to take divine +10, or occult +5. Which one is better, i've already been through catacombs, so i dont really need divine to kill skeletons, so is it worth it outside of that, or is occult better?

    pvp it barely matter but for pve i would go occult.

    I'd advise occult as it gives a damage bonus to dark knights and silver knights. (among some other creatures i don't remember)
    Divine gives a bonus against skeletons and (i think)harpies, which are both only encountered in very specific area's and don't pose a very large threat on the big picture.
    And for base damage and pvp potential it doesn't really make a difference.

    If you are keeping your str and dex really low I'd go Occult, as it ends up with an A scaling in Faith (vs. Divine's B scaling), but if you're also pumping str/dex then it probably doesn't much matter.

    Bonus damages

    Divine: skeletons, (darkwraith and harpies?)

    Occult: silver knight, black knight, gwyn, (ornstein and gwyndolin?)

    The ones in parentheses are uncomfirmed.

    Honestly, if your str or dex is close to 40, then I would take the weapon to +15 and buff it with SLB or DMB. It would do more damage then divine or occult.

    If your str and dex are low, then I would use occult. Occult has better faith scaling.
