Just wondering, and not that I care much. Noticed I had a -2 reputation yesterday ( today it's -1). I've never broke the forums rules, been kind, answered a few posts and asked a lot of questions. What is the purpose of downgrading this newbie?
More importantly, what have I done? Asked too many questions?

Seems to be from misunderstandings. What Negatives I could find seemed to come from sarcastic remarks about glitching that people thought were serious.

EDIT: Also if you ever need to see your negatives/positives. You could go to your profile, statistics, then see your topics and posts. Scroll through them for anything which might be taken the wrong way and check to see if you got a rep up or down for it.

Agreed. In my entire time here I've down repped someone just once. And I think it was one of the people who specifically asked to be downrepped instead of up.

I think I remember downrepping someone once but they don't post on here anymore and anyway what they posted was so obnoxious that a lot of people down-repped him/her. I think this illustrates what down-repping is for quite well. It helps this forum to stay a nice place to be. Not that we're all goody goodies or anything but some people think they can just say what they like because they're anonymous and sometimes what they say is unacceptable.

Jester just posts things that are inappropriate sometimes. I also can't remember if it is him or someone else, but someone sometimes comes on drunk to make wild threads.

I remember buggy virus. For some reason, he got -10 rep. So he wrote in his signature "give me a -1 rep when I'm helpfull" or something. It worked and he got more or less -30 rep. But then he wrote "okay, negative rep was fun but now lets go positive" In just a few days he had positive rep again.

I think thats the story, sorry if there is something wrong silly
