Bed of Chaos Easy Mode?

Sorry, the title was a lie. It's nothing really that big, just a little something i noticed that helped me get through BOC everytime without falling to my death. If you walk off the panel that's circled, you can easily land on the roots without a risk. Although, you do have to look out for the arms because they tend to push you off. Those b*tches...

So yeah, this is for those of you who have problems with BOC. =)

EDIT: I noticed that i made mistake, walk off not JUMP off. And i used a screenshot of ENB's Dark Days. I had to do this because ENB kept falling to his death. =_=

Also, from the spot your character is if you back up just a hair and move to the left you'll be standing in a spot BOC can't reach you. So all you should then need to do is bait it to attack and then run to that spot in order to defeat him.

I do Ace's way. I walk up to just about where I will get slapped and run after the hand misses. BoC (Blue Oyster Cult?) likes to swing early

Run back to the center. You'll notice a tree trunk; stand a short distance to the right of it, and you'll be safe from all the Bed of Chaos's melee attacks. She can still do her firestorm though, so do keep an eye out for that. Then, watch her arms: she'll sweep her left first; start running when she starts sweeping her right arm. When the floor crumbles you'll notice a tile that sticks out further than the rest. From on top of that tile, you can safely fall down to the root without having to jump.

From what I can see, that has been there since 17th September 2012. However, there are loads of videos with it from before that.

There it is. I've never had much trouble with Blue Oyster Cult so never went there. I'll be....

Well, this is for those who never noticed it on the wiki. I mean, i didn't until i tried it out myself. I discovered this 'trick' way before that. I prefer to lurk then post most of the time.

There's nothing to gain from criticizing somebody who is trying to do others a favor. Even if it is redundant, its not like we are going to run out of threads.

We do, but we don't constantly check it out, waiting for changes hoping it will make our game easier. There are hundreds of pages on the wiki and it's constantly being updated. I use it as a resource to check out areas I'm having issues with, researching builds, or pointing to people when they have questions already answered there.

I noticed the circled area the first time I ever tried to kill this boss... since then I have met that stupid tree about 20 times and he still manages to kill me.

When it comes to the BoC, it was always the jumps that kills me. The flailing arms aren't really a bother if you know what to do.
