Trouble to access DLC-Content

Hi everyone,

I'm somewhat out of ideas.
That stupid Golem in the Archives refuses to drop that broken pedant.
I killed the Hydra and rescued the Duske from the golden Golem and summoned her later, bought all her stuff and talked to her a few times. Then I went to the Archives and killed the blue Golem but he doesn't drop the Pendant.

At first I thought it might be a problem that I'm in the middle of a New Game + and obtained the Lordvessel already before I bought the DLC. After I donwloaded it I killed the Golem in the Archives just to realize that I didn't rescued the Duske. So I went into the woods and rescued her and then killed the Golem again but no Pedant.

So I rushed to start a New Game ++ and did it all over again in the right order. But again no Pedant.

Slowly I start to suspect that I might have another Problem. I bought Dark Souls while I was on a Trip in Germany but downloaded the DLC from the US Store. I just hope I didn't waste money.

I was in NG+ when I acessed my DLC, however I had not yet gotten the Lordvessel. I beat O&S and turned in the LV to Frampt, then I went to the Archives and kill the Golem but - you guessed it - no pendant. Then I was alerted that I had to rescue Dusk, so I did. Went to the Basin, killed the Hydra, fought the brown golem and accepted Dusk's offer.

However, her summon sign did not appear for me so I was not able to summon her and talk to her/buy her spells, but when I went back to pick up her clothes, Manus' hand dragged me into the new content.

Are you sure the DLC downloaded? I believe the golemn appears post patch, but the DLC triggers the drop.

Correct but if he purchased the wrong language DLC then it wont talk to game... My opinion anyway

Yeah i downloaded the DLC and it was installed without saysing anything about wrong version or any other error.

lol you downloaded the wrong DLC. you need german DLC (Europe I believe) for it. You have an European game and trying to run american-zone content on it.

So basicly Sony prohibits to create an account or an other country but the dlc isn't compaitble with all versions?
I feel trolled...

Definitely get in touch with sony and see if they can help you. They might be willing to swap the DLC for you.

Are you sure? When I got the dlc there was only one option to download. I've also never know there to be region-specific versions of a certain piece of dlc.

This is unlikely, but you MAY just be super-unlucky SenSen, i've heard that the broken pendant isn't a 100% drop (although i've only played through it once so far and it dropped first time, so I can't really verify that).

I'm in the same boat. I bought my copy in Dubai and that golem never drops the broken pendant. After reading this thread I might just pick up a US version of the game and hope that works.

SenSen, I'm going to say the problem is the European version. I picked up a US copy today and it loaded the new patch and installed the DLC. Unfortunately, the characters wont transfer over so starting over from scratch is the only way to get to the new content.
