Offensive, Defensive, Evasive or Strategical Combat Style?

Title. What's your most efficient way of fighting?

All out offensive with all your might and less defense?

Defensive style waiting for the right moment to attack?

Evasive maneuvers with almost no blocking weapons?

Strategical style using enviroment and other artifacts to ensure victory?

Mine is a variety of Offensive and Evasive with Great Scythe, uchigatana or a tracer in the right hand and Dark hand and Pyro flame or a tracer in the left hand!

Offensive on my str builds and evasive on my warrior build.

I try to be Defensive. I need to analyze each enemy in order to determine the best course of action. However, I tend to overthink XD. My offensive abilities are kinda lacking, I have a hard time being assertive lol.

I'm a bit new to pvp so it'll take a bit to master.

I was going to say strategical but then you said environment/artifacts. I guess I'd be offensive/evasive, but before I do anything I intensely analyze my opponent.

I play defensive with a bit of evasion. I orginally went with the heaviest and hardest hitting items I could get. But I realize the issue with that when I ran into people who loved to spam fire or magic spells. So I manage to keep my tanky gear with having a mid roll. I am perfectly fine with waiting till the enemy makes a mistake for my BK greatsword+5/great axe+15/claymore+15 to prey on.

I dont think that I fit into any specific one of those, I just do what works best with whatever build im using at the time e.g my current dual gold tracer/goughs greatbow build is more offence/evasive

It depends on the opponent.

Well I would normally say agressive mixed with evasive on my dex builds but recently Ive been taken with the power of STR weapons and that has altered how I fight considerably....

Im now more of a Defensive Strategist.... I like to make sure I have area to swing my weapons and areas where more maoeuvrable player might find tricky.

Now Im using a Zwei on my Gentleman build and I find that even with the Buffs I can apply the worst thing I can do it swing agressively without anythought. NOW I like to time dodges and counter with roll attacks or careful swings

Always strategic.

I'm evasive/strategical. I don't like to rush the opponent or pressure them constantly, but I do toy with them a bit to figure out their game and how they react to different situations, preferring to dodge and almost never take the hit on my shield, and usually throwing in a few pokes for good measure. Then, I usually play semi-defensively, with some pressure/offense thrown in at the right times.

I guess I'm defensive.

Ultra offensive, i tend to keep pressuring my opponent until he makes a mistake or i get killed.

also, use heavy or hard hitting weapons, before the patch i only used Gs, but now with the nerf i'm looking for improving my playstyle with different weapons

It's all about counter attacking.

I mainly pvp in darkroot, so it really depends on what the host is doing. For the most part, Offensive and Defensive are my main used strategies. Depending if I'm up against 1 target and their tactic, i.e. bs fishing, spells, rb spam, etc. or if there's 2-3 targets all swarming me, typically playing defensively, waiting for the perfect parry or backstab tends to make or break the encounter.

I prefer to play on the more Offensive side, but I'm typically pushed into the more Defensive side.

I'm very evasive/defensive. I can't afford to trade any hits, so i dodge a lot and try to get a few hits in.
It also depends a lot in my opponent, if i'm fighting someone with loew poise then i tend to get very offensive. But if my opponent is in heavy armor then i'm more defensive.
And i use the environment a lot when invading, not so much when dueling though.

It obviously depends on the build, but i usually win when i play a combination of offensive/evasive, though i usually end up playing in a defensive way because i'm too afraid of facing anyone that buffs their weapon. :pale:
