What weapon do you find yourself using on most of your characters? Mine would have to be the longsword. Sure, it's not that great but I like the move set and the speed.

I generally upgrade the Partizan to at least +5 with all my builds in the early stages of the game just because it's a nice tool to have in a lot of different PvE situations. Outside of that I think I've probably used the Barbed Straight Sword as a main weapon with more builds than any other weapon

rapier for pve along with a good bow... as for pvp it varies every time.

The Great Scythe is used on almost all of my characters, and I have a feeling the Gold Tracer will be the same eventually.

Rapier +15 is a very typical weapon to see on ALL of my characters, whether they were intended to use it or not. The Gold Tracer is QUICKLY becoming it's replacement though, and I'm growing quite fond of the Estoc's Moveset as well.
Iaito +15 is also another very common weapon to see. I just love the horizontal power slice it has.

My Halberd. Good, nice weapon that you get no matter what in the beginning of the game. I'm doing a dex/int build, and I just recently realized that I probably shouldn't still be using the Halberd, after killing S&O already...

I always seem to end up wielding Velka's Rapier on any of my character who can wield it efficiently. Pharis' Black Bow also tends to be a central part of my arsenal. (Mostly been playing Dex-Int builds in the past)

Balder Side Sword for the thrust attack and low weight, Parrying Dagger in the offhand because it looks cool. I end up using these on all my builds. For my chars that can actually use it, I really like Lifehunt Scythe.

this made me laugh so hard, idk why. I also use the halberd on every character. Best moment with it was when a guy tried to bow backstab me and I did the double swing attack while he was behind me...He had no chance.

BSS +15 ... I just love this for both PvE and PvP. Even unbuffed it's a beast. It's typically my go-to weapon all the timez.
Honorable mentions...
Quelaag's Fury Sword +5 - great for anything weak to fire.
Pharis' Bow +10 or above - the accuracy cannot be beat. I typically only use bows for PvE so far.
Silver Knight Shield +5 - anything but fire.
Black Knight Shield +5 - oh this thing has fire
Crest Shield +5 - lower weight than the SKS and good against magic users
I've not had enough time to experiment much with the new weapons.

Because I use a number of different weapons on different builds, to answer this I just asked myself what's the most typically used weapon on all of them. One answer came to mind: Balder Side Sword. I think it's the most versatile I've come across, and the moveset can catch people by surprise. My only exception is on the Dex build, which uses curved swords a lot.
