I'll admit Tart there are MLP avatars that bother me, but not because of the ponies. It's just because they are often so bright it hurts my eyes. Especially whenever they have the yellow pony with pink hair.
Well Nom Anor is associated with death but it's a bit complicated. I'd associate him most with freedom and free thinking. He goes against culture and nature and follows only his own orders.

Well, the thought of intellectual ponies with such a huge variety of colors is just...
Creepy.
But i guess it's all just because i'm fond of the more ''scary'' stuff.

He's from Star Wars, the novels.
I believe he appears first in one of the Crimson Empire series. But I know he mainly is in New Jedi Order. Vector Prime is I believe where he is first really introduced.
