Help Elizabth is missing!

So I finally got to this place called the Sanctuary.

To the left of the bonfire I picked up an item 3 x Elizabeth Mushrooms.

Am I missing something to make her appear or did she somehow die!?

I hope I am missing something; I got that broken pendant obviously to get to the Sanctuary.

She dies like that if you have killed Dusk.

I had to kill the Gold Golem(Dusk) in order to kill the Golem in Dukes for the broken pendant.

How else could I have gotten to broken pendant without killing the Gold Golem????

don't worry, she's not that important except for story info and lore stuff,

also once you kill the gold golem dusk pops out of it, you may have kept swinging during the golems death animation and killed her as she was freed.

I used Chaos Fireball... that couldnt have killed her right?

No, you can neither buy the spells nor the catalyst, as the other NPC who sells them is Elizabeth. The lingering lava from the chaos fireball must have been how you commited this heinous crime.

Yeah chaos fireball absolutely could have killed her, because it leaves the lava after it dissipates. So the Golum could have died then when Dusk appeared she'd have been standing in lava.

But I thought lava doesn't appear if you use a chaos pyro in water? Or am I wrong?

I'm pretty sure it does. Not positive, but pretty sure.

It's true. Use it on a Hydra. The lava stings the scales!

To the OP, do you recall hearing a lady scream when you finished off the Golden Golem?

If you did then that's your answer, you killed Dusk you brute!

speaking of fireballs on a hydra, i finished the last head, the one over the deep end, with a great fireball. last one too. felt pretty good
