So i've been playing music for many years and i'm well past the basics on stringed instruments. I realized I haven't played my banjo much at all so i click onto youtube and click what looks like a vaguely advanced piece.
He started the video by playing it. Ok cool looks decent let's get to learning it...
He spends three minutes talking about basic techniques like Hammer ons, slides, and "general fingering" but he doesn't actually teach any; just wastes my damn time mentioning them.
Why does every youtube music tutor guy feel the need to do this at the start of every video!? *Rage*
Ps. I know if you're not a musician who's ever used a youtube video to learn a song you won't get this completely, but it's cool. Just close this tab. I don't mind
