Opinions on the Hornet Ring (Spoilers)

By now most of us know the ring has been changed from 1.5 crit bonus down to 1.3 crit bonus. With coming nerfing of the dwgr as well, would this ring actually be seen as ok to use?

By "o.k." I mean do you think we will see less hate mail because of it, and see its use in future Fight Clubs after the patch.

Personally, I try not to get angry no matter what tactics my opponent uses. With the 2 new daggers, and some sport armor to match, one of my toons may make use of this ring + wolf ring. It will be interesting to see if the 160 critical dagger x 1.3 will end up the same as the 110 critical rapier x 1.5.

I'm generally Ok with it (I use it myself on a couple of my own builds) just so long as you don't just BS fish with it all the time and a DGA.

i dont see anything wrong with it, but ask your self this.

Nothing wrong with it when you use low damage/high crit weapons. But, pairing it with a Zwei/GC is just obscene.

We'll see. I consider it a buff for weak weapons. A rapier and Estoc do crap damage.

No. Nothing has changed.
Weapons that were too strong with the ring are still very powerful, and weapons that didn't do good backstab damage without it are still too weak.

The ring didn't need changed, the system did.
