Favorite Starting Gift.

I've seen 2 threads about favorite starting classes. I thought it would be interesting to see people's favorite starting gifts.

Mine is twin humanities. It's great for kindling and ranking up in covenents.

Although I think it's great to chose divine blessings when I start as a Cleric, because it goes with the character.

Master Key, just because I'm unoriginal like that.

Gotta be honest, I always choose the Master Key. Boring, but true.

Same, Master Key. It removes certain annoying things, like having to go fight the rats in the Depths to find the key to the bonfire, etc.

Now I feel like removing Master Key from the poll, but I don't know how.

I choose the tiny being's ring...It always helps to have a bit more life at the beginning of the game.

This is one of the reasons why pendent conspiracies exist.

There's so many rumors about the pendant and with the DLC out, I have no idea what to believe anymore lol

I pick twin humanities.
Playing through the challenges of the first run makes me stronger overall, and the twin humanities make my farm for humanity shorter, which is all i need at first.

I used to pick up master key in the PS3... But in the PC, I'm getting the pendant. I think the reason is more lulz than anything.

The main reason -for me- to pick up master key was early access to Astora Sword.

As my PC builds are all physical now, I rly don't need it early

After beating the game so many times, master key 100%

Always has been the Master Key.

Mastery Key is the one I choose, but if I had to pick a favorite..Old Witch's Ring. Because its only use makes what you did more heartbreaking.

I normally use the master key unless, if I feel like experiencing the whole game then I would pick the pendant. To be honest after four builds using the master key I kind of want to get back into going through the depths, the undead burg bridge and all those other fun things that make this game more frustrating.

I had the old witch's ring once, when I heard that voice I felt so bad for her. Actually I don't think I've ever killed her, because I just can't bring myself to kill that poor thing.

The pendant is my only friend on this lonely pilgrimage. Always has been.

Twin humanities, although I don't pick it anymore. But it was the starting gift that I picked on my first playthrough. So it has nostalgy value.

Twin Humanities. I play the game I feel the developers intended; I don't go off to the side to grab an OP weapon that lets me destroy the first section of the game (Astora Straight Sword, Drake Sword) and therefore, no need for the master key.

Twin Humanities immediately increases drop rates and resistances, which I find very useful.

Master key or black firebombs, though i only choose the firebombs if i play as a thief. It may not be the smartest move, but i really love finishing off the Asylum Demon with them, it always gives me that nice feeling. The master key, to me, seems the most useful one though. I'm also kind of into the Tiny beings ring, but that's only because it was the first item i ever chose. Though i would probably NEVER choose it again, i just really kind of like it.
