Dragonoids

Just like to say after joining the Dragon Covenant I did 10 Duels via Dragon Stone.

Everyone was honorable, full on bow, buff, do a little dance and the let party begin!

Just adding it in that I also got my Dragon Torso finally and now I'll be nothing but Dragon form, even did a few duels as a Dragonoid with a +5 Fire Claw and + 14 Claw as my only weapons.

i always love dragon invaders, respect them and i always drop 1 dragonscale before we begin.

yeah, i always summon dragonoids, theyre the most honorable pvp'ers out there, its probably cause if theyre not theyre never gonna get ssummoned.

I had a lot of fun with my dragon, Its my favorite, but since no one summons me I usually end up invading..

I stopped Dragon dueling because I kept getting summoned by cheap players. Still, I may have never had more fun PvPing than with my Dragon guy when it was good.

I never understood the point of the Dragon body if you use a weapon, though. The Dragon roar is awesome, but it's all or nothing in my book.

i know nothing about the dragon covenant, i wanna join cause it would be perfect for my str/fai build, does the torso have any stat requirements and how many scales do you need to get it? do you keep it after you leave the cove? cause i only have 8 dex, im thinking of going dragon armor with my machete, great club on my right hand and grass and blood shield on my left.

There's no requirements for Dragon stones as far as I know. Using the roar gives you a 25% Damage bonus for a few seconds. Only issue is you have to remove all your armor, but I think the Stone gives you some defenses.
I THINK it's 30 Scales total to get the Torso stone, but you get the Head stone for joining.

yup thats correct. and the defnsed the stone gives you scales with humanity. either way carry alot!

you don't get to keep the torso if you leave the covenant and the dragon head goes back to rank 0 power.

I do like harpoon does except I carry the dragon crest shield so when I win I put it on the face of the looser to let them know whats up. hehe.It matches perfectly with the color of my dragon and even looks a bit like him

dragon body should boost dragon weapons... just sayin.

are you saying it does not? I think it boost anything that you have armed.

thats why i said i'd be perfect, i dont wanna wear armor cause i wanna stay under 25% and i always have 99 humanity an since humanity gives you eighty somethig defence and the torso scales with humanity it would work great with what im trying to do.

imean how the body boosts your dragon fists it should also boost dragon weapons in a similar (though not as great) fashion your unarmed goes from 20 to like 300. it could make dragon weps scale with cov level (these are only suggestion but...)

Does the Torso really scale with Humanity?

I thought that was a misconception based upon the fact that Humanity automatically boosts your defense.

The dragon roar drains enemy stamina, such as the Force miracle, and gives you attack power. At rank+3 your fire spells and fire breath damage are increased. I'm not sure if humanity boosts defense while in dragon form, but I aways have at least more than 10, and you can carry any weapon and still do the light roll, thats a good advantage.

This guy beat me pretty hard with his dragon roar and velka's rapier. Every time I mis-time a roll to dodge a roar I take a roar-buffed poke.

I don't know what Rant means by scaling with humanity but all it does is increase the dragons defensive stats.

No need to put points into defense just hold 99 humanity.

yes hold 99 humanity on your dragon for maximum defensive boost.

Hmmm... let me make sure I understand this. Are you saying that dragonoids get an extra defensive bonus from humanity in addition to the ordinary defensive bonus that everyone gets? If so, that would be new to me, and very exciting .

No I am sorry if that's how it appears :oops: I think its the same defensive bonus everyone gets. By the way, I am assuming that is the same.

Just checked my recordings and found your name. Not sure if I will upload a video with that build but it is fun to play with.
It is very effective, roar + poke. A spear would be even better, but I like Velka's Rapier and I hate spears.

I got my Dragon Torso on Ng++++ then beath Gwyn, on Ng+++++ I left the Dragon Covenant and still am able to go full Dragon.

I updated the wiki. Removed some incorrect information and added some new. Mostly about Dragon Torso Stone.

Well well! If you left the dragon cov and can still go full dragon then the information source that I used must have never left the dragon covenant with his 4 dragons. Don't know how you could have bugged it since you are in NG++++++. Really interesting. I think we have just learned something new.
