Customized Lore

I've recently been a huge fan of the fact that the Lore is hidden or requires real roleplaying in order to decipher what it really means. One of my most popular Lore-related questions are "Who is this?" "Why are they here?" "What is their history?" And while playing Dark Souls I tend to create stories and adventures related to such things for the place I'm in or the character I had made.

So I decided to create a Thread for those who have interesting stories about a character, location, equipment, or anything else. And do not worry, there are no restrictions. If someone writes something about a character and you had a different story for them that you would have liked to put in here, feel free to do so. There are plenty of people with an open mind to accept the ideas of others.

Do you mean of in-game NPCs, because I don't feel too comfortable attributing a backstory to them that may not be or accurate, or do you mean a backstory for the player character?

I'm not too good at it, but there is even an RP-dedicated thread on the Forums where a few members play around with their character have him/her interact with the DkS universe in fun and creative ways.

Perhaps I have just been wasting two hours. I'm sure there are more people who think like you than me.

I started to writte a tale about "The Fallen God", narrating the backstory of the Firstborn and the causes of his fall of the deity status. Of course, it's pure non-canon fiction.

I just feel like the lack of story and Lore is somewhat purposeful. Some of it is meant to be found out via treasure hunting and reading text and dialog. But I still feel a lot of things are not mentioned for creative purposes.
