Few are. Very very few. As an example, my iq is 148. Thats higher than 99% of the world. Sheldons is 187.

(ps what iq represents is intelligence in its simplest form, pattern recognition. It represents the capacity to learn, not the knowledge one posesses. Anyone can learn anything with work, but it is generally easier and faster for people with higher iqs)

I don't know what my IQ is, but i expect it to be average. I'm smarter than a lot of people, but there are also a lot of people who are smarter than me.

Hmm. seeming smart and having a high IQ are not necessarily the same robin. although I am sure they correlate.

Most of the time (at least when I hear it) smart is used to mean knowledgable (though I dissagree with this definition). Anyone can be knowledgable, about most anything, with work. So yes, in that case they are different things.

You're a genius Forum hahaha. I once took IQ tests from the internet. I took them in English although it's not my first language, and I don't think they were real IQ tests, but the highest I got was 130 and the lowest 120, so I'm above average, LOL.

A girl that I like called me psycho and I have a big depression right now. Thing is, the psycho is her because she talked to me in the first place and I didn't do anything she just talked. So I searched for her in facebook so we can continue talking (I've seen her various times before she talked to me, but she was the one who TALKED FIRST). And I'm the one being psycho yeah right.

I haven't explained the whole thing. After adding her on facebook, some time passed but we didn't talked much after that. Then I saw her last week randomly near where I live. I was amazed because I thought I would never see her again (she lives far from me but she's somehow related to my town). So I sent her a message on Facebook saying that I can't believe I saw her again that that must be god that wants us to talk (lol). She didn't answer so I wrote her hello 3 more times until today she messaged me saying she has a boyfriend that lives near and that she didn't answer me because she felt awkward by my message. In other words PSYCHO.

The ladies can be masters of torture. She may have just lead you on intentionally, it happens all the time for whatever reason.
I think it'd be best to move on from this one, man.

I had to take one for the gifted program in school, and I moved alot so I kept having to take new ones. To be fair the renge varried some, my iq was scored anywhere from 144 to 152. 48 is in the middle, so thats what I go with.

I know, but I rarely mention it because

A) it makes me sound absurdly arrogant

B) it makes me look stupid if I'm wrong (as people rarily seem to know what iq actually is)

C) Few people believe me.

D) it rarily, if ever, has any bearing on the discussion

@dan it also proves my point. IQ is not an end all measurement of what one can learn or understand, but a measurement of how quickly the posesser is likely to understand the topic at hand if they apply themselves. It also doesn't determine the limits of ones expertise in any given field. I am terrible at large scale strategy (despite my efforts) but do squad based tactics quite well with little effort.



There have also been studies that suggest than in america, people with higher IQs are less likely to succeed and more likely to do drugs or go thrill seeking because they get bored with school/work quickly. They also tend to overthink things, especially ambigiouis things like emotions, and so have problems in those areas.

Trust me (not knowing your iq,) if yours isn't above average you're probably better off.



In my experience wyrm (limited though it is) if a girl wants to talk to you then she'll do so when she feels like it and repeated attempts on your part will only push them away.

Also if she didn't specifically insult you then I probably wouldn't assume she thinks anything because thats a long rode that only ends badly.

I have a problem overthinking girls' reactions. lol

and forum I believe having only done one IQ test that mine was 138... I dont even remember taking the test but I am told that was what got me reffered to a private school and a bunch more tests followed by a scholarship so good times I guess

Played through ffvi recently. I have to say I was mostly unimpressed, the character development was mediocre and sparce, the battle system has huge difficulty spikes that require grinding, none of the characters were particularly cool.................. I don't see all the praise it gets.

I can't believe that got downrepped lol. FFVI has a awesome story though. I stopped playing because I got to DkS again. I like how everyone has an specific stereotype class, pretty much like FFIX.

8 and 10 are my favorites, but X-2 has the most fun battle system.

X-2 has a similar battle system to XIII. I love the ATB system over the turn based. My favorites are 7 and 12. 12's story sucked so much, but I loved hunting all the monsters, and defeating the final hunt was f*cking satisfying (50,000,000 HP dragon).

So anything been going on while I've been away, or is it same old same old here?
