    I was in jolly cooperation with two other guys in the kiln, as we were heading to Gwyn, I was cleaning the path before the host and the other phantom, then I reached the halberd black knight and decided to backstab him.... then i happened the host and I timed our backstabs closely and we BOTH had the backstab animation.... and we did HUGE DAMAGED to the black knight!. IT WAS AAAAAWESOME!!!

    I've done that against an invader with my phantom, we both had hornet rings too. Hurrah

    I managed it against a ganker in the forest together with another hunter, it was instant death for his high-level toon, 500K souls from that one.

    A fellow darkwraith and I managed to Double Backstab the host in a 2v2 in the kiln. I didn't realize what was happening until I saw 2700 damage pop up.

    I see this alot in coop - you actually have to be careful about this if you are backstabbing or riposting knights (notably Anor Londo ones) and do a huge amount of damage to them. Particularly with a double backstab, some combination of lag/bugginess will often make them either freeze in place and not die, or occasionally make them stay active and dealing damage, but be completely immune to further damage themselves, which creates obvious problems. The solution is that whoever landed the "killing" blow on the knight has to move a certain distance away from them, at which point the death will finally register. But this can be hard if the knight is still mobile and pursuing, or worse if you are trapped by an immobile one standing in a doorway or on a walkway and can't get far enough away to trigger the death.
