Wow... the things people say.

So I'm in the arena fighting right now... and the last three people I've had matches against have ALL been using havel's armor and shield and turtling HARDCORE. they literally wont even throw an attack until you whiff or something. so I've taken to backstabbing them and finishing them off with magic and they have the nerve to message me saying i suck for "backstabbing and spamming spells."

Ugh... I've got so much hatemail today from turtles...

Hate mail is universal in all games, regardless of platforms haha. Actually children's games are more abundant with them. Not because they're kids without maturity reacting, but because god damnit why blue shell, I just got into first place! Son of a *****!

were they tanking or turtling with a spear/rapier? cause ive seen videos of how they bounce off shields and that just makes it easier to counter or bs.

Spears and rapiers do not bounce off of shields in PVP unless your foe is using great magic shield.

The hacker Peeves was fighting just had fail str/dex.

In PVE maybe. In PVP the only reason why a spear or a rapier (or any weapon) would bounce is because you don't have enough STR to wield it, or because the other guy is using great/normal magic shield.

Then again it drains more stamina about 50% more than normal when atacking with a rapier behind a shield and more stamina is drained when your shield is hit, so if you were extremely aggresive you could have made their lives hell I hate turtles its such a boring way to play.

To clarify... These weren't spear/rapier turtles. These were guys who were just using a greatshield and sitting there. They didn't attack. They just blocked all your attacks and waited for the match to finish. Honestly it confused the hell out of me at first until I just started "taking advantage of lag" and backstabbing them into the dirt.

Oh and one guy was even using just a talisman and hitting WotG when I got close. Very strange play and extremely boring.

These people probably didn't have a clue about the PVP, thinking you could just block/counter other players like you can everything else in the game XD

those are tanks, nothing wrong with tanks, it can be boring though, there are some tanks that are aggresive and theyre really fun to fight.
