Has anyone done a PURE pyro build?

no weapons, just pyro's.
idk how well that would work since to get to laurantius you have to get to the depths (alot of stuff to kill with only 8 fireballs lol), but has anyone done this? if so please post your build so I can try it, thanks!

Hell yea, its far more viable then you would think. Just practice aiming fireballs unlocked, its one of the most important things to learn. Also remember that you can actually 2h a pyrohand and block, its great against light attacks like arrows/bolts or 1 rapier poke ext. Make sure you have 45 dex and tons of att.

I did. 0 poise, and no weapons. Only a Dark Hand and dual-Pyro Flames.

Duel pyro flames? that means you got to ng+ right? or can you get a second flame???

I had a friend give me my flames but there are three flames you can get normally on NG. Start as a pyro (comes equipped), save Laurentius, become and Egghead and talk to Eyngyie.

when I save laurentius as a pyro he dont give me a flame :/ do you buy it off of him? I only remember him selling pyros, not hands

Now I'm wondering if he gives you the flame if you're a Pyromancer starting class, as I recall he's always given me the love glove.

I dont get it from him if i start a pyro, cuz he dosent say that "now, i am a fully fledged pyromancer", gonna havta test it

You can get three(i think maybe 2), you start as pyro and when you talk to laurentius once hes back at firelink he should give you one, then theres one with the pyromancer set(a cast of poison mist also) that is found in lower blighttown swamp. I'm not positive if one is with the set, but im fairly certain it is.

I know the set came with posion mist, dont remember the hand though, imma have to check on that 2

I am soooo sorry smurf! I really did not want to share that, but I didn't want you 2 handing a pyro glove on Quelaag for 10 hours thinking "ok, I must be doing small fractions of damage, but I WILL KILL HER!" lol

you can actually get 2 pyro flames per playthrough
1- if youre a pyromancer or if youre not, laurentiu will give you one, he wont give you if youre a pyro
2-talking to eingyi and having 12 int, he must be able to give you one

as i didnt want to upgrade my int, i just asked people that i was helping if they had a pyro flame they could give me, and someone did c:

And that is EXACTLY what I would do lol, so thank you for reducing 10 hrs of suffering

I guess I have to boost int to 12 then I'm stuck offline, no fun

JUst make sure you kill opponents before you run out of casts for everything. Also, host, don't invade. If the guy you are fighting heals late in the fight, you're goddamn screwed. Unless of course you have 48 great combustions lol. I only had 8, 8 regular combustions, fire tempest, and great fire ball. I lost about 50% of the time. This is when I was to scared to go onto NG+

It is possible to get all 3 pyromancy flames in 1 playthrough.

1. Start as Pyromancer
2. Save Laurentious, then before you talk to him, drop your flame. He will give you another flame to replace it. Now, pick-up the dropped flame.
3. Talk to Eingyi while having an egg head and answering "yes" to his question. Drop both flames and he should give you 1 pyromancy flame. Pick-up the dropped flames.
