I make a point of avoiding poise maximizing, my int toon has silver knight armor with big hat's hat, my dex toon uses the black cleric set with pharis's hat... so no not everyone is a heavy armor abuser

I mainly PvP in Shadow Garb with a Target Shield and a Rapier. I'm quite far from being big, heavy, and devastating.

I PvP in whatever I happen to be in for the circumstances. For some boss preps I will wear Havel chest/legs and usually giant gauntlets. When clearing areas and or exploring I use the gold hemmed set with the exception of the gloves. I usually swap in the crimson gloves solely for looks. Either way I try to rely on my Greatshield of Artorias and Lifehunt Scythe as these match my fighting style best.

That depends on where I'm at. If I'm doing PvP in Anor londo or pretty much any where else I will normally use Elite armor or Gold hem or anything else that’s quick, I like to change a lot just incase I'm invaded by the same person more than once. I don't want anyone getting bored with the same look..lol. Now if I'm in the forest fighting tanks I will adjust my armor accordingly. To limit yourself to one type or armor or weapon I think is foolish in a game that gives you so many options.

My weight is under 25 so yes, I hate having heavy armor, it makes you so slow and more likely to get hit. Granted I get hit for a lot more with light armor. I might go to Havel's though, I keep getting stunlocked a lot and it's impossible to roll away from at times.
