Arena qyestion

so the past few days i have been sitting in arena and nothing happens, i never get matched up to fight. what is the most popular arena to join?? im trying to do just a simple Duel Ruins 1v1, and ive been sitting in the glowing elevator for about 20 mins now i see red circles appearing next to me and across from me, but nothing happens.

before this i was invading worlds fine i would invade maybe 5-10 seconds after i casted red orb.

I hear there are issues with connectivity for the pc version of the game. I don't have it, but some people I've talked to that do said they are having similar issues.

Many player say that the fog doors come and go constantly, but no invader appears. Those are the signs of failed invasions. Some have also said that they have more luck in the arena when playing hollow for some reason.

Have you tried to open/forward the Windows Live ports?

TCP port 80
UDP and TCP port 3074
UDP port 88
UDP and TCP port 53
TCP port 443

Just allow them through the firewall, they are mostly dns, http and https ports. You could try to forward the UDP/TCP 3074 port from your router as well. Not sure if this helps at all, since it could be the game.

i will try all that, i actually got into a duel last night, and then shortly after got summoned for a 4 man free for all but there were only 3 of us and we waiting like 30 mins for the 4th person till we finally quit.

i also have long waiting periods to get into the arena at sl 99. not enough people i assume. i was constantly invading sl 50 in anor londo just fine and without fails, but always have trouble summoning phantoms..
