    So i was taking a look at the new content via this video:

    and i saw something that really called my attention... in the Artorias battle cinematic, the way he's moving it just... just seems awkward, i mean look at him, looks like he's confused, and he does not attacks you on sight, he just looks at you, acts like he is going to say something, but then is halted by the abyss power that "found" him and took over.

    Also notice that he is plunging a citizen of Oolacile who was taken by the Abyss ( at least that is what i think it is), meaning he is still trying to clean the mess up, even after he got his arm broken and severely injured "seen by the way he moves before possession and by the state of his armor)

    just a cool thought i'd like to share with you guys, go easy on Arty ok? he's just lost, and confused and... OMG HIS ARMOR IS SO PIMPIN' GOTTA KILL HIM TO GET IT, CHAAAAAARGE!!!

    And seriously, who killed artorias? YOU cant be the first, if you think logical.
    Past -> Future, (for the first time) and then timewarping.

    see it like this, you, the chosen undead warped back in time, and killed Artorias, who is already dead in your time, maybe, since the flow of time in Lordran is F*ed up it just might be you yourself who actually killed him, that is why Sif attacks you on sight, like "i remember you... you killed my master..." something like that

    but lets say, the first past, before everything else. You cant be the first one, only one, who defeated Artorias. It isnt possible.

    It is as many descriptions ingame state:

    "Be summoned to another world as a phantom through your sign, and defeat the area boss to acquire humanity.
    In Lordran, the flow of time is distorted, and the White Sign Soapstone allows Undead to assist one another."

    I can't say for sure, but this would be a good reason for Sif to attack us, but i guess we'll have to wait to find out...

    and no i did not watched it XD

    That is a nice bit of info you gave me, thanks, but now it all doesn't make sense... why in the wide wide world of Lordran does Sif attacks you? if you saved him? My brain made a knot now...

    Erm.... maybe its because he remembers what happened to the last guy who tried wandering around in the abyss that he liked? he is stopping you getting the ring and going down there and ending up like poor old arty. sif's got your best interests at heart. plus. your undead not like death is that big a deal.

    well there is an item description on something.. (i forget what i don't have the game i can't look for it very easily) and it says that the story we already knew of artorias only told half of it, and that some unsung hero (you) killed him and preserved his honor and truly stopped the abyss, so when you read that, it then kinda makes sense

    plus for sif, there's a video on youtube that now if you save sif and then go fight him he acts hostile at first but then starts sniffing you and remembers you, sadly you still have to fight him

    I think I have posted this in a thread before.

    The very first rule of Time Travel is:

    It has to exist in the present, in order for someone to move in any cardinal way through time. You are probably not the first undead dragged into the broken land of Oolacile, and tried to kill Artorias. There were THOUSANDS before us.
