Invade fail

How long and how many times do you get the invade fail message before you move on to a different area????

I made my first DW and tried to invade with it last night and only got invade fail. I'm lvl 23 and was in the catacombs, burg, parish. Only action was from others invading me in the burg. I did try quiting to reset, but no change.

I specially hate it when I wait it says invading only to fail at the last second. Doesn't happen that often though, hosting is the worse cause I get the fog doors for about 15 mins only o have it disappear and have the bonfire go off and I gotta reset my game, it was the reason I stopped hosting, it sucks.
