(SPOILERS) new builds

So now that the dwgr got nerfed and hopefully it gets nerfed on consoles what are you guys gonna do with your builds? Did you really depend on the dwgr that much that you need to remake them all? I for once was thinking that Im just gonna make my str builds dragons or just go no poise since I can't see myself going med roll with my DGM thought I tried it didn't do that good. All my other builds fast roll with either 53 or 61 poise so I'm good with those, being a dragon will probably make it more fun, what do you guys think?

Wolf ring and havel's ring will make a comeback. But at least there will be less roll bs and less silly Iframes

Havel's + fap LOL. But serious I guess we can kiss SL 120 good bye. Everyone will try to pump endurance as much as they can, thus increasing the SL cap for hybrid/pure stat builds. And Str builds will be extremely rare.

Are yo guys getting the PC version?

I want to but don't have a PC. Might have to invest.

That is assuming people choose only to stick to the same strategies instead of adapting to new ideas.

Never used the DWGR beside the tournaments so it's not going to be problem for me

I'm not getting it since my laptop sucks but yeah people don't care about sl caps, only legit pvpers cap themselves at sl 120.

It took PC community half an hour after first crack to hack the chars on every stat 99 and 999999hp....yeah not playing this on PC (someone made a cool resolution render patch though and it looks gorgeous).

yeah.. have fun with the best roll for roll bs'es becoming the most common type.

it's not that big of a nerf. it just means less iframes, more roll stabs and less defense/poise.
people will probably use havel/fap, which gives pretty damned close to what darkwood and fap gave.

Fast roll roll bs is way more difficult to do than DWGR roll bs, so for those who can't live without it they better start practicing hahaha.

oh come on its not that much harder... the only problem is getting in range, but you can fast roll bs like.. everything man... everything..

try it vs a 2h katana r1. prepare to be amazed.

Sl 80 ornstein is now dead. Needs 47 end to fast roll with both rings, which means I cant get decent damage, and Ornstein doesnt med roll.

I hope not. In fact I was hoping we all lower the cap we have on the forums to 99 so we get more crazy builds at lower levels.

And it's NOT because I've found it fun to make builds at that level. Nope, not at all.

Time to practice mid roll and fat roll too lol.

My str builds are all dieing, the weapons are too slow to handle spears and rapiers unless I have the fast roll, which I cant do without losing a ton of poise and/or hp and/or defense, all of which are more important for my slow weapons. I'll still use them, but they won't see serious action. This is exaggerated because I do most of my pvp at 80.

My casters care not at all.

My dex builds are mixed. I'll have to redo some and kill others, but 1 or 2 won't change much.

With DWGR only working for loads under 25% I can say good bye to Johnny "The Ninja" Havel? Awesome!

I actually see no poise dex builds being the most viable pvp builds so they can use fast roll. It will also make glass cannon invasion builds more viable in PVP.

We'll have to do med roll and +106 poise to win a battle of greatsword spammage. But yes bye bye awesome great hammer 2 handed roll R1. I have one that has 21 poise and its not that bad. But for greatswords/greataxes you need the poise.
