Could Dark Souls use Stylishly Evil Players?

When I say evil I mean evil as in not deluded into thinking they are in the right. Knowing that they are invading and probably being confronted by an irate player but simply not caring.

Okay that sounds cold but thats not all.

These Stylishly Evil players wont Chain BS, they wont Fish, they woudnt Gank or Glitch. They would be that pure PvP/ PvEvP experience that DeS used ot have.

Dont condemn me for this all im saying is that when everyone is playing the 'good guy'/ believe that all thier actions are in the 'right then all we get is sterilised PvP modes and builds.

Anywho that is just my two cents.

I already am one, so guess what I voted.

I consider myself a "good" evil spirit when invading....meaning I don't chain bs, stunlock or use glitches like the dragon head/body.
I don't fish for backstabs and hate it when the other player does.
If I do get a backstb in, I back off and let them recover before engaging them again.

However....if I invade someone, or get invaded, and the other player does use a glitch or tries to chain bs, I will employ those tactics myself...I mean, fair is fair right ?

Yeah Alara and thats kind of what I think is wrong here.

A Darkwraith inavades..... he may or may not even get the chance to fight his opponent but without hesitation the host will always run to a phantom, chainstab, etc

Now the host is most definately the good guy here..... but it doesnt excuse such poor pvp behavior especially when most hosts then go on to DW and then complain about how people do that to them.

Cant wait for that DLC. Hopefully I can make a flippy artorias somehow. Ugh, that'd be amazing.

Uh? I invade like that now, though I am a dm, not a dw. If what you're asking is if it could use more real invaders then yes. I see griefers and duelists, almost never invaders.

JLRFalconpunch is one of those. Everyone in the Souls community probably hates him. He used fair means, including the environment with enemies to kill people.

Not entirely, but yeah. Its mostly d*ckwraiths and duelists. The thrill of the hunt is a niche now. I still enjoy it however. I'm a dm to try to keep any real griefing to a minimum, but if I've invaded you, someones dieing if I have any say in the matter.

On a more related note. I baited a newbie to the cats. Whom I buffed with the Trident. Was that a bit too evil?

The only thing I didnt like about him was that he set out to grief people rather than fight them.

If he saw 2 phantoms.... he wouldnt just win the fight he would ensure the host killed an NPC or what not. Sure he was good ill give him than but he was a bit of a tool in certain circumstances.
