SL16 Sunbro STR/Faith

Okay guys so I need some help both from an information perspective and ingame perspective.

I am doing as above a sunbro build to help out my fellow players throughout the game.I am currently SL 16 and plan to stay there as I have heard of people going all the way through the game on this level ?

I currently have 20 STR, 8 DEX and 20 FAITH, I already have the lightening bolts to throw which make the lower level bosses nice and easy to deal with, however I need some help in understanding what would be the best melee weapon for me to acquire and upgrade ? I have read that devine weapons scale with faith however at this low level is if worth it or should I go with some thing else ?

Then comes the point of acquiring the weapon and materials to do so which will no doubt require some planning and probably assistance from my fellow players.

Hi, my limited understanding is that at lower levels Lightning/fire/chaos is superior to scaling due to lower stats. Maybe go with a moveset you like and apply an element. I'm myself going through at sl 15 and have just upgrade my claymor +5lightning.

So after looking at my build I prob should have gone for a little more dex and my options would have been greater.

Battle Axe
Blacksmith hammer
Blacksmith Giant Hammer
