Q: best weapon with magic or enchanted path?

Hi everyone
my class is is Sorcerer with (str16/dex40/Int50/faith8)
Currently I am using Moonlight sword.
my question is what is the best weapon with normal upgrade+15 to enchant it with magic?
And what is the best weapon with magic or enchanted path with blue titanite?

Any weapon that you like and that scales well with dexterity.

Magic weapons have such little purpose. Its so a weapon can do magic damage without having high INT, but the AR is just terrible in comparison to Enchanted for INT users, which are the ones who should use it, its AR isn't worth it (for magic damage) vs a lightning or fire weapon.

Don't forget that Magic Weapons win out slightly over Enchanted when you have high physical stats, on, say, a level 200+ character. At 40/40/50 I think Magic is actually better.

Oh wow really? Thats pretty cool, but also not too effective, since at those stats a CMW +15 will blow it out of the water.

With those stats, an enchanted claymore would be very effective, but I would rather use MLGS. It's difficult to choose enchanted because you already have 40 Dex, so I would choose normal/crystal weapons only. Some weapons you might consider as good enchanted:

-Some staightswords, such as Sunlight Straightsword.
-Claymore/Bastard Sword
-Gargoyle Halberd
-Composite Bow with moonlight arrows
-2 handed Zweihander

I am not sure but Magic Weapons just take bonus from Str or Dex not both of them with lower bonus from intelligence than Enchant Weapons. Expect some few weapon like Claymore, Bastard, Washing Pole with E/E/C and E/E/B stat, so won't take a good bonus from str and dex. I think B is better than double E at 40.

I don't know the specifics of the scaling on different weapons, I just used mugenmonkey. Also, keep in mind that scaling can show the same letter but be better or worse than another with the same letter. I consider the letters just ratings for the quality of the hidden scaling formula behind it.
