Why does....

Priscilla think you are in love with her? I just had this sudden realization due to her dialogue. While she maybe a damsel, but she isn't in distress nor am I a silver knight!

Has being the only sane creature in the painted world taken its toll on her or is she just really lonely and doesn't want to admit it? Maybe she was worshiped by those who lived there?

uuuh could you get the dialogue exactly? Because I cant remember any implication she loves you.

Are you talking about the "requited desires" part? Because, if so, "desires" is so open-ended that it could be any number of things. Love would be a possibility, yes, but so could so many other things. Maybe she's under the impression that you are a messenger sent from the other side of painting to try and convince her to leave the Painted World, something which she doesn't even want to entertain.

Really, it's impossible to know. Unless you have some other dialogue that I don't know about...

This would go along nicely with what Miyazaki said in an interview about Priscilla being an early idea for a heroine who would fight along side you.

I hate hearing about all the stuff they cut from DkS, the game couldve been so much more.

Indeed, and it's awesome content that can easily be reproduced as DLC.

Yeah that's the part, but if she didn't want to leave...isn't desire a little bit of a strong word for it? Though it makes you wonder who would have sent for her, because that poor soul would have to go through alot in order just to get to her. Hollows, knights, painting guardians, undead dragons, harpies, white rats, demons, and slime things that have no clue what a phalanx is. They would have to send a bunch of messengers in order to get through all that, but what would give her that idea?

The ironic part is the fact that we don't need her power or skills to fight the Gods. I wish we could acutally hear what our character was saying instead of him being mute.

Yeah that stuff as DLC would be pretty sick.

Remember Oscar and Tarkus recently went in. We dont know what they did while they were there.

I thought Oscar and Tarkus couldn't get past Sen's Fortress?

Then why is Tarkus's body in anor londo? And how did Oscar get the LV? They both got past it, possibly on their own actually.

I forget the time difference even in NPC terms. Darn you From and making everything so obscure and complex, but....it is fun to speculate.

I thought Oscar was trying to be the Chosen Undead and well I don't know why Tarkus was trying to get to Anor Londo. Why would they need to meet Priscilla?

Actually, Oscar may NOT have gotten the Lordvessel. The evidence for that is his messages in the Crytal Cave right? We already know that other NPCs can get past the fog (I forget who, it's been a while), why couldn't he?

Solaire? He has a LV. Logan? Gets past it when you open it. He has the LV.

Reah and crew? Sieglinde? Hell, Siegmeyer is goddamned UNDERGROUND before we get there. What's stopping Oscar from just climbing the wall to get to Seath's mansion?

Reah and crew never go past the golden fog gate. Siegemeyer can only get to sens after you open it, then climbs down the roots (according to cook) to get there. He probably does this after you open the fog gates. Linde was captured by Seath. Who knows how long ago that was. In fact your main evidence is not an NPC. Its the channelers.

She went searching for her father, who probably hasn't been in Lordran since before Gwyn linked the flame. And if he wasn't, then she still had to GET there somehow, which would be hard since it's supposedly "Sealed". Also, the Channelers ARE NPCs!

That Said, I think Gwyn was lazy and only sealed off a few door ways.

So it appears things sealed behind the barriers can come and go as they please, and take prisoners with them. I cant agree Linde went searching for her father. I still think there is the possibility Seath made her.
I think you only see a few entrances sealed off is for gameplay reasons.

Whether the Knight had the Lord Veseel or not is hard to say, but it is much more acceptable that he has done lots, form the many secret messages he has.

Seek Guidance across Lordran, you can find his messages more than what you see with just the naked eye... All of his 'posts' are normal Guidance Signs with a knight helmet.

He even has one about Gwynevre... whether you talk to her or kill her, the Lordvessel is yours for the taking. Since he recommends throwing a projectile at her...
