A question to those that PVP on both consoles.

Im really liking the aggressive natured duels on PS3. The most noticable move or attack is the roll BS its very common among the better pvpers ready to punish certain weapon animations. But while i am enjoying the dueling on PS3 i'll have to vote Xbox. Just for the simple fact the I see these two words the least. "summoning failed"

also feel free to add me to your PSN i need more people to duel with.

i have both.

when i bought another ps3 and got dark souls for it (holy crap it was only 10 bucks new) i immediatley got obliterated after encountering the better players.

they play differently, and backstabs are a huge part of how it's done.
on xbox people just blast each other till someone dies and sprinkle some rolls and stuff in there..
ps3.. it's just constant backstab attempts.

once i adjusted my tactics to include a metric ton of backpeddling, counter stabs and my own backstabs things changed considerably tho.

mind you i'm playing like garbage today.. so if you see me in the burg blame fire emblem shadow dragon for the horrible performance.

Just FYI the increased population on Ps3 is the source of those failed summons. If two guys hit a summon sign together one gets the summon, one gets that message and increase in population means this happens tons in high traffic areas.

oh that priceless...i will add you definetly. sometimes i let the game get to me. i apologize now if i did offend. Ill see if the msg are still there

haven't played enough to know for sure, but there seems to be a lot more honour on xbox. played round my friends and we were invading the forest at level 50, we only fought 1 gank in about 2 hours of invasions.. i was really impressed.
