Where have all the low-level invaders gone?

As some of you may already know I am currently undertaking a SL1 Humanity intake run-through, and the one thing that has surprised me the most about this is the severe lack of invasions that I am currently experiencing. :evil:

To date I have been invaded a whopping total of two times, and both of these were in the Undead Berg, I have since gone on to play right through to the Boss Fog at Sen's without so much as a sniff of another invasion.
What's the heck is going on?

To say that I am mightily disappointed by this would probably be the understatement of the century, especially after seeing so many posts on this here Wiki Forum berating the myriad of low-level invaders who supposedly populate the lower levels of this here game. :evil:

I mean, what does a guy have to do in order to get some low-level invasion action around here?

I mean, how much more of a tempting target can I be being a SL1 Humanity intact no-glitch toon, in a land supposedly populated by low-level invading scumbags?

Try making a SL 20 build you will het a lot of more invasions

There's no need when my SL120 gets more than enough invading action.

The whole point of this thread was to show that as things stand if you decide to undertake a SL1 Humanity intact run-through you needn't worry about being invaded, as low-level invaders are quite clearly few and far between.

Either that, or I am so awesome that they ran scared when they heard I was rolling up to their neighborhood!

i'm doing a SL 5 run but i just go human for killing npc invaders, but i dont really care because i'm trying to beat all the bosses without any help (but the one of my Broadsword ) i'm in O&S so far, i think they will put an awesome fight! (but i'm really scared of the 4k :shock: )

In my case I decided to set the bar high right from the start, as I must stay human at all times (if I have the Humanity to do so), regardless of the risks, and I can only use equipment that a SL1 toon can effectively use, which means if the equipment's base requirements go beyond my toons stats then it can not be used.

As for O&S I'm not too concerned about them, as I managed to beat them on my first, and only, encounter before now.

It's the Silver Knight bowmen that :affraid: the absolute crapola out of me, as I know that they're gonna bounce me around and off the edge like a piggin rag doll!

DW a shortbow 2 poison arrows on each one can do the trick, or run like a bat out of hell and roll till you get to the right one and parry + riposite him off the ledge aways fun

by low level we dont mean SL 1 we mean around sl 15-30. griefers are searching for inexperienced people not challenge builders lest they have to work for their feeling of superiority.

When you put it like that Dan it all makes sense, but it still doesn't get rid of the empty feeling I have inside from having no one invade me when I was expecting so much more!

well do some invading yourself and just wait I'm sure the darkmoons will be happy to oblige

I would, but I'm yet to join any covenants with my SL1 toon, and as I am purposely not going to murder Ingward in order to gain access to the Darkwraiths early, I can't see myself doing any invading this side of the Four Kings. :evil:

At any rate, I very rarely receive an indictment when I do invade on any of my toons, and so the likelihood of me coming across a Darkmoon is even more remote.

I guess I'll just have to be 'Billy no mates' for a while!

My first foray into Anor Londo, and having dispatched the bridge Gargoyle in mega quick time (thanks for the tail axe M8), I then find myself being invaded by a Spirit of Vengance!

Well after a very quick bout (three hits and I was down) I decided to PSN message my opponant to ask him what SL he was, and much to my surprise I then found out he was a SL49. Hardly surprising then that he made mincemeat of my lowly SL1 toon with what appeared to be a Lightning Shotel. It's just a shame that I couldn't give him a more decent fight, as he genuinly came across as a nice guy, and fully deserved the victory even if I didn't put up that much of a fight.

So that makes me 0 for 3 in the invasion stakes, oh the :oops: of it all. If I keep going on like this I'm going to have to dust off my SL120 toon, as I'm not sure how much more of this my over inflated ego will take.

They really only invade burg and parish, sometimes forest basin but very rarely. When i do starting lvl playthroughs i stay human just cause i hate being in undead form, and i don't ever get invaded after parish.
