    I'm sure its based on preference but just wondering, what is the ideal weapon to stack divinity +10 on when using a faith build and trying to maximize dps?


    I currently use a Divine Washing Pole +8 and i like it, just wondering what else is out there and how efficient this actually is in comparison to others.

    Really any weapon your good with is the most efficient. Try different types of weapons and find ones you good with, or enjoy using and make them whatever you want to make them.

    I believe the pharis bow has S rating (the best rating) in faith when you upgrade it all the way.

    It does indeed have S scaling. However remember that without 50 fth, if you have a 40 in the damage stat a +15 version will almost always be better due to split damage.

    @DoughGuy - preciate it, I plan on having 50 faith so that may work, otherwise ill fo with a fire avelyn + lighting bolts or something, still debating. Also I sent you a friend request on PSN for covenant info, ill get back atcha tho cause im still weighing my options. (ballinboudreaux)

    I prefer the Divine Murakumo +10, but I use it mainly for PvE. I have treid it 2-3 times in PvP and it wasnt too bad.

    @Darkspiritelite - yea i agree, I use it two handed but with my build I dont have the stats to one hand it, otherwise I would or make it lighting

    I really like a divine claymore, or if you really want to pummel people into the ground, go a divine greatclub +10. An enchanted one has an A in int scaling, so a divine one might have an A in faith also.

    @fuji - I may try eventually just for kicks; for now I have a Divine Washing Pole +9 and I also just tried claymore and like that too so ima make an Occult Claymore.

    Anyone know what the difference is between scaling from a C to a B?(in regards to faith, a +10 divine vs a +5 occult)

    The letters dont actually have a fixed scaling amount. Some weapons Cs will scale more than others Bs. Its more a relative thing you have to judge from experience. However the general consensus is a weapon with a single stat booster will scale better with a higher number.

    Between occult and divine, divine has more magic damage so is better for heavy armoured foes, while occult has more phys damage so is better for lightly armoured ones. With the DWGR allowing heavy armour stacking its probably best to go divine.

    @DoughGuy - Perfect thn, thanks. Just to let you know where I stand, I have a Divine Washing Pole +9(faster for pvp/being invaded) to use on phantoms(gotta confirm if that works) and simply cause i like the tana playstyle, and I have Occult Claymore +4 for use in pve mainly. So the Divine will be going up against the heavy armors(pvp) sorta speak, I also have a +15 Washing Pole that I use with Sunlight Blade and I'm considering changing that to a Murakamo/ having both for versatility. More then likely I'll stick with the washing pole atm for this build, and i may do a +15 claymore to use with it as well because I kept my str at 20 and can only 2H the Murakamo, still fun tho ^^. Thanks again, I'll get atcha soon for that covenant info.

    A good tactic is to use your +15 with a buff for PvP, then when the buff runs out switch to your occult/divine weapon. That way you get the super power of a buff and then a good reliable weapon when it runs out. The washing pole is a very good weapon, as is the mura. 2 handing the mura is a good strategy especially if you can ded angle.

    I always thought that the scaling was relative to the base damage of the weapon.
    IE S scaling gives you a bit more scaling damage that base damage. This doesn´t mean much with priscs dagger, but with the DGA it means a lot.

    That might be true. It does seem to make sense.

    If you want a divine weapon solely for PvE convenience in the Catacombs consider using a blunt/strike weapon. They deal more damage to skeletons. A divine morning star or club would work well, though they have pretty average movesets.
