Those damned Scythes.

First of all. Scythe animations is TERRIBLE.
Second Why use an Schyte?
Third any idea how parry and Backstabbs for Scythes could be fixed?

The great scythe is a very good weapon especially for dead angling.
In terms of BSing and Riposting I assume you are talking about how you apparently shove the blunt bit of wodd thorugh their body magically? Id just live with that, the solution is to have the blade utilised more in the animation but it would be a bunch of costly work for no real profit.

If all you are complaining about is animations, then I say, worry about more important things first, besides, if 24 STR is "inhuman" then 40 should be godly, who's to say that you couldn't push that weapon through someone?

I personally enjoy scythes especially the great scythe +15 buffed with SLB. The horizontal swing does amazing damage, but they are kind of slow on the normal attack.

Scythes are good to use because of their range and damage. They are weapons that take some time to get use to, even i keep a backup weapon when i use a scythe. They are also some of the harder weapons to backstab and parry with but if you do manage to get lucky than the damage amount will be worth it.

The blood hunt scythe is one of the best weapons.

Diden't complain about stats. Just how ugly parry looks. And the move set. Instead of a ''slam'' type attack it should be slash Normal and a Slam type strong.

I would say it's appropriate. The strong attack can hit groups and is close to the weapon's intended use. So the best attack is what it was designed for. It wouldn't make sense to have two near identical attacks do the "other" attack was made to the slam which still uses the blade. Since it is an inefficient use of the weapon it's weaker. I love the parry and backstab but I would equate them with a Sam Raimi horror movie. Intentionally over the top violence to create a cringe. As one of the least plausible attacks I can see why you might mitt like it though. To be clear though, I find the idea of a near God being able to perform the move plausible. I don't find a chance of surviving the attack to be plausible. Even a God or demigod needs a few organs "not in half"

Unless you're a klutz like me. I'd heard that the Lifehunt Scythe was great against the Stray Demon in the Undead Asylum and so it was but I forgot that when he bleeds so did I. It died at exactly the same time as I did. Result, no slab. My fault I know but this is something to remember if you use it.

Scythe's perfect. Everytime I use one, it feels like an extension of my arm, like a part of me. The scythe and me are 1. No fixing needed.

But that slam attack is really unpredictable, you think it's gonna land later than it actually does.

If it lands the next strike is fast as heck too.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE SCYTHES!!!
I love scythes especially for PVP, +15 great scythe buffed with DMB is AMAZING, that 2-handed power attack is awesome and its hit range is ridiculous.
On the topic of fixing animations: I assume you are talking about the Great Scythe but I reckon a good solution would be to change it to the blunt weapon backstab+riposte animation (where it hits twince horizontally).
