murakumo vs cblade/composite bow.

so.. lately in the burg I've been encountering a japanese murakumo user. he's good, doesn't let himself get backstabbed.

for the life of me id get him down to one hit or so but he'd always win. it was rough man.

I finally swapped to my mlgs build, poked at him with my spear then mlgs r2d him when he was locked into 2 swings. he flew back and I started wailing at him as he stood, rolled after him and kicked his roll r1 and finished him with r1 s

but MY GOD I need some better tactics with katanas vs that thing. tips?

Mostly, you gotta keep moving out of their reach and saving your stamina when it comes to Muras. Toggle-escape parries are good if they don't dead angle, and last but certainly not least, learn and anticipate. If you've fought a guy a couple times, and he hasn't changed tactics too much you should be able to read ahead and surprise him.

Just to clarify, he's fighting locked-off, right?

wed both swap out for locked on and off. I would of bsd the **** out of him if he was unlocked the entire time and he'd of done the same if I didn't toggle it.

I didn't let him get away, but that kept the pressure on me with my bow and dung pies.

Murakumo is deadly at dead angles. Practice parrying it with a friend, just like all great weapons its unusually slow and easy to parry if they are locked on.

Otherwise, you can punish his locked off R 1 spams with ranged pyro, chaos comp bow, or running kat R1s.

Skilled Mura users are some of the most interesting for me to fight, but i rarely see them
