If anyone's interest later on this afternoon (GMT) I will be venturing
through Anor Londo on my NG+ play-through humanity intact carrying 99
souls, and perhaps more importantly with well over one and a half
million in souls just begging to be taken, bring it on!

99 humanity?
1.5 million souls that players don't actually get?
they get i think 50% of what it takes the host to level up- seperate from your actual soul count.

if i wasn't going to sleep i'd try invading you.. gwyns dead on my characters so i'd probably end up getting invaded tho.

I wasn't sure how it worked, even though I've invaded and have been invaded more times than I care to remember. :oops:

Even so I will still be staking my 99 humanity and over one and half million in souls, against the not too shabby sum of 46057 souls (seeing as that I am playing a SL120), along with one humanity or my left ear depending on how the invasion came about.

The whole point behind this is that I will shortly be starting a SL1 humanity intact run-through, and so I thought I'd get some much needed practice in beforehand by making myself an open target in one of the later levels of the game.

Killing a host gives you 10% of the souls it takes for them to level up.

Killing an invader gives you 50% odd the souls it takes to level up.

.....a couple million souls is not a huge deal if you PVP a lot, but 99 humanity is a ***** to lose.

An invader would get 9040 souls, if your host you would get 49200 souls.
I have a 120 build i pked on allot, it has over 16 million.

I'm sorry, but you get over million souls doing PvP in one day : D
The character I PvP most with has something close to 50 million atm all from PvP...on the otherhand I PvP a lot.
