The most hilarious incident encountered in Dark Souls multiplay

Tell me about the most hilarious situation you have encountered while doing multiplay on Dark Souls.

For me, a host at Anor Londo was chasing after me after I invaded him as a Darkwraith. I accidently fell off the ledge near the platform you get onto the narrow walkway to enter the Painted Hall top area and he skydived to his death on the same spot right after me. It was so hilarious.

had a similar moment in snes, guy invaded and fired crystal spears at me, i returned fire with poison arrows, hes on the ledge with a ladder that lead to the gatkeeper giant, he dodges right to avoid my shots and fall straight down the ladder hole leading to the titanite demon area.

Invading in Sens, I notice its a 3v1, all tricked out, Greataxe, heavy armor, etc. So I get a couple hits off then fall into the titanite area. I see one phantom (the weaker one luckily) fall after me, so I start walking towards him...Only to have a Greataxe plunging attack flatten my ***. It was beautiful timing.

I was a forrest invader, jumped in to a 2v1 (as always is the case these days).
There didn't seem to be aynthing wrong with the connection when I first arrived. I managed to seperate the white phantom from the host and get a back stab in...or so I thought.

The game bugged and suddenly we swapped places! I was being backstabbed by him! I thought all my health was gone but when I stood up I wasn't dead...in fact I couldn't even move. The host and phantom started wailing on me and my health was empty but all I could do was stand there. No dying animation, no "you are dead" screen. Eventually they gave up trying to kill me and left me standing their, unable to move.

While this does seem crappy 2 things were excellent about this.
1 is that When ever the hosts phantom was killed, I got souls.
The second was being frozen meant I had a lot of time to message the host, who it turns out is a farming douche bag. When I told him I was going to stay there until he died his reply was "lol wotevs".
Roughly 10 minutes later a forrest invader came in, 1 shotted his phantom with a moonlight greatsword backstab and then smashed the host. I got the sould from both. When The host did though I was still stuck in his world...eventually forcing me to force quit the game

weird but interesting if you'd been a red you'd have gotten souls from those he farmed too, lvl up go back whoop his ***.

I have a story like the OP's. Was in bright Anor Londo, had just summoned two phantoms to help me (by being meat shields) get past the archers. Red guy invades, kills one phantom, then camps up there on that thin walkway leading to the back-entrance of the painting guardian cathedral. He takes out his huge sword, (dunno what kind it was, but had an R2 like the Drake Sword) and started doing some earthquakes 'ala Ocarina of Time's Moblins from the top portion of the walkway. One of my phantoms tried to eat the earthquakes with his shield up, and then fell off. Well, having used the Drake Sword before, I knew it was only a matter of time before his sword breaks. So I just played cool and did some gestures from the base of the walkway until he started to approach. When he got close to me, I started up the walkway with my shield up, playing trapeese artist, waiting for an opening. Boom, I throw a kick in there (he must have been so coole he forgot about kicking) and he went falling off to his death. I went to do a hurrah, and my guy pivoted and fell to his death. Much lulz ensued on my side of the TV.

I remember the first time I ever did PvP in the game. I was strolling along underneath the Wyvern bridge having a *** old time when I saw the invader message, and had absolutely no clue what was going on. So I continued to fight the Hollows when suddenly this guy in Wraith Armor with a giant flaming sword and a glowing red shield came charging at me and jump attacked barely missing me. Panicked I just smashed buttons, and accidentally kicked him off the ledge causing him to fall to his death. Priceless.

Then of course there was the time I saw a guy with a long sword, wearing black armor throw pyromancy for the first time. I had no clue what it was and in a split second had an idea that I thought would totally catch him off guard. Giving into my Nintendo instinct I promptly hit the ball with my sword...I then blew up and died. Fun times.

Got invaded in TotG last night and had my sparkle light on down near the fatbro twin fight. I see my glowing invader attempting to bait me toward Nico and Vince and he's all juiced up and ready to murder me. So I decide to just outwait his buffs and let him come down the hall and kill me one on one (I'm such an easy g.d. target and this wasn't anything like a decked out PvP toon...like the town bicycle...everyone can have a ride on my souls/humanity). He finally heads my way, praise short attention spans. I decide to at least try to fight back a bit and whilst scampering around him my headlights wink out and off the side of the path I go in the darkness...f me for trying :-)

Hey at least I don't hide offline/hollow like the other farmers :-)

If I had the means I'd put together a montage of me just getting super duper owned by invaders. It'd be good for a laugh at least. And it's not like I wasn't about to die by my own stupidity in PvE anyway....

I invaded someone at upper Sens. I notice that the guy is upstairs fighting the fire barrel throwing golem. As I enter the stair case that leads up the the golem, the host dies. Just then, Iron Tarkus spots me and promptly destroys me.

I got the reprisal for the host's death and Tarkus got his revenge.

i was summoned in anor londo and try to show someone the way to the dragons layer bow when i miss and fall near the senitals i barely make it out alive and i go the normal way through the level with the archers while the host pops a heal everyone in a while. i eventually make it and he acts really happy to see me and we happily beat fatty and slim

got summoned for a beginning lvl run in burg and after bowing the host drops a few items in front of me, i'm thinking... for gods same no more wooden shields please... well i ended up picking up 5 *** slabs :shock: Fencer but ok... i hope oswald didnt notice!!

Invading people on my Int. Mage wearing nothing but Brigand trousers, dual Dragon Bone Fists, off-hand left-hand a Darkhand and off-hand right-hand pyromancy.

The one time I have landed that uppercut has been one of the most satisfying things I've done in this game.

I turned around to get to the second floor, and suddenly got backstabbed through the floor out of nowhere, at which point the host and phantom magically appeared next to me. Got a laugh out of that.

I never realised that the different sized lifts were for O&smo each.

I got invaded in Duke's Archive today and I was in no f'in mood for that. All the channelers were still alive as I'd just come from the second bonfire, and for some reason I decided "You know what I need? I need the high ground. Yeah. This is a good idea." So I went over to the ladder by Logan's room and started climbing up, figuring I'd get up top and I could wail on him with magic, and he would fall off dodging and die and then he'd be crying and I'd be alive. Or something.

So I'm running up this ladder, still not knowing where the heck the invader is cuz I haven't seen him yet, when suddenly the crystal archer thing wakes up and decides I'm free food. I take three shots before I know what's happening and fall to my death... at the invader's feet.

I was invaded in the forest, and the guy tried to lure me toward the cliff. I cast Greatsword Dance and it tossed him off.

I once was going through Anor Londo to fight O+S with two epic phantoms, I was sl50 at the time. Each phantom was epic, one a sunbro and the other a princess guard (was casting team miracles). I got invaded by a darkwraith pyro build. He killed my two phantoms in a flash, before I could get to him. (Note, I looked up all three players afterwards and they were all Japanese and quite damn good)
He then healed as I bowed and came at me. Fight lasted probably more than five minutes! He must've had 34 Attunement or more 'cause he shot almost every offensive pyro in the game at me. I found myself laughing out loud while trying to dodge his Fire Surge... I assumed he was out of spells when he casted all his Chaos Flame Whipe, Chaos Great fireball, Fire Tempest, and Great combustion... LOL. In the end I won just barely, luckily only getting hit once by his Furysword.
Wish I could've sent him a message but I don't know Japanese...

Actually, I thought of another one. A guy invaded and must have been feeling sure of himself. He stood there for a second, then dropped something and backed off a bit. I went and picked it up. It was an indictment. Guess he was telling me I should use it after he killed me. I ran straight up to him and one shotted him with WoG. Thanks for the free indictment, pal!!

The situation, I alway help people in undead burg for starting new character, majorly killing the Dk and havel. So here are some of the funny greifer coming in.

1) Guy invaded, I wait in the corner, pop up and he just run scare in a room and use the soap to escape. I send him hate mail. After a few back and forth, we end up talking how the chick from my place are hot.

2)Griefer come with kirck suit, run up the ladder where the 3 bomber are but not before I shoot one crossbow getting him half way down. Even if he out of reach I am still lockon. So when hes about to pop his head, I shoot and kill him. He probably never saw me.

3)Most favorite is a time I was swinging weapon with the host. The phantom got kill while he was spawning somehow.

4)An other glitch, instead being summon, it turned into invasion. I was too scare to lose my humanity, so I killed him, but sended apology.

Fighting in the forest today I walked up on a guy and his phantom, and I managed to pick off the phantom with a pair of soul-spears. As I was killing it, another invader showed up somewhere off in the back, and the host high-tailed it through Alvina's house. I chased after him but couldn't find him anywhere! Around now the other invader walks up from behind, and we spend no less than fifteen minutes combing the woods together trying to locate this dude (I'm not the best at PvP, but I think I could've taken the poor guy if left to my own devices). Anyway we search high, we search low, we search the fog gate, we look every *** where, this dude is ghost.

So by now I'm kind of de-facto leading the search party, the other dude goes where I go, so I'm like "Hell with this." I take him back to the Artorias gate, throw up Soulmass for extra visibility, and start using the "Beckon" motion ad-nauseum. The other phantom is standing up over my shoulder busting out some amazing dance moves. We sit there waiting for what felt like another ten minutes of epic Braveheart battle-taunting, until finally the guy summons help from god-knows-where, and comes at us for a legit 2v2. Once again I picked off the phantom, but then I got BSed with a giant axe of some kind, and I don't really remember much after that.... the real joke was I'd promised my roommate "Look, just ONE MORE INVASION," and this one dragged on for no less than twenty minutes.

I was helping someone in the Kiln as a white phantom. We were on our way to Gwyn when somebody suddenly invaded us. I decided to stay behind and fight the invader on the bridges. He tried to swing his weapon at me, but I managed to dodge it by rolling towards him. That way I got an easy backstab and I thought he would fall and die. Unfortunately, he didn't fall. Then I decided to just kick him down.

But I had forgotten that I was roleplaying as Lautrec. With all his armour and shotels.

The invader must have been like

I spent some time pvping in the forest by myself as a host and at some point I kept getting invaded by a guy who was wearing absolutely nothing and would just stand there each time he invaded. I didn't have the heart to kill him, so I let him hang around and, well, be idle. His presence confused quite a few invaders, most of whom got in his face and shrugged, and one invader even challenged me to a shrug-off
I haven't seen that kooky little streaker since.

This happens sometimes. Some Forest Hunter guy puts on Alvina's ring and leaves his console to do other things. Saw a guy keep invading as a Forest Spirit and just standing in the wet puddle in the middle of the forest.
