Yes it does.
It's annoying as hell, especially when they aren't even attacking and they just constantly roll into you.

Does it still do the dmg/etc when using the DWGR, or does it actually have to be a roll? O.o

I once saw a build were it was just armor of thorns, 2 bonewheel shields, and you'd fight by just constantly rolling against the target until they'd die.
