Alright now I have no idea if anyone has ever said this or thought of it. A friend and me just thought of it and we need some outside help. Now this will contain spoilers, so advert your eyes if you care.

Anyways, in the Firelink shrine/kiln thingy that Frampt brings you too, you should notice behind you that there is 9 kilns and one above that, with a huge door and a staircase to the left. 9 kilns and 9 covenants. Now what if when you hit level 3 in every covenant, those kilns can be lit/light up, and with the pendant, the item described as "take it or nothing at all" you can light the final flame at the top. Then possibly the huge door might open.

Any suggestions, ideas? Can anyone confirm for me if they've hit level three in a covenant if the any flames have lit up?

But its an interesting theory, however i've never bothered since getting +3 in most covenants is pointless.

Also its impossible to rank up in Way of White, so think that wouldn't work really...

I was thinking there maybe something to this, then you had to get all wise and intelligent on us.

aha to be fair if you can think up some way to rank up then maybe

could it be just being a member of every covenant without people getting annoyed at you? so maybe you have to go to oswald to abandon a covenant then join another and so on?

pretty sure that most people don't bother with things like that so could be possible..

I always wondered if they were like the Lordvessel, and you fed boss souls to them to light them up, and that the final one at the top was for Gwyn.

I think that if you have all boss souls on you when its a full moon on friday the 13th at 11.11pm, then a path will open to the door and behind the door will be..... ?

Well I know that something different happens if you converse with her with the pendent in your inventory. I'm not going to go into more detail than that, but it was my understanding that that was the sole purpose of the pendent.

Sadly, the pendant does not unlock any dialogue for the Maiden, I have tried. No one has confirmed this either. She drops the Pendant, a symbol of the forgotten deity we know as the God of War, but that is the only hint of the Pendant.

However, the Ash maiden and the White Maiden have an interesting similarity of garb of wear, and their idolized statues gives hints of their affection to the gods. One in the church, one in a tomb, one by the forgotten god's alter, and one by the pit that leads to Kirn.

Tie the four statues together, the two maidens, and the pendant, and you got an interesting grasp of connection of what the Carim Gods are to the connection of Maidens, mainly the Forgotten God, the God of War. The connection is their, however the connection can be easily served that the maidens and the firekeepers have something in common as well. The hints are their, and the discussions have been made before. That is the connection between rhea and the pendant, as it were.

well that's basically what I was asking. This isn't something I've seen myself either. But I've read that she supposedly brings up the connection between mankind and the forgotten pygmy. I actually just started a build with the pendant as a gift in order to try to see for myself. I guess if I do manage to get the elusive dialog I read about I'll repost.

Alright. well the Pendant has been used by many of my characters, and no Dialogue has been brought by the pendant. Neither the internet nor wiki claims such claims. Still, if you find such dialogue, it would be interesting to see.

That's actually not true. The internet absolutely claims those claims. Where do you think I read about it?

The wiki here, youtube, wikidot, and other forums such as the Demon Souls forum, and other such means. I have not found anything of the likes of such dialogue that has been proven true, although I have seen many theories and claims, I never have seen the true dialogue in play, nor any support as such.

Unless you can find a link or find to prove me wrong, the internet does not show any means of a hidden dialogue by the pendant. Sorry.

I didn't say I'd found proof that it's true. If I had that's what I would have said. But I've read an absolute ton of speculation that all revolves around what I brought up. You're response to that was "the internet doesn't claim those claims," not "the internet hasn't proven those claims."
