Handy Pyro Builds?

I've been trying to play a faith/str build but I went into a highly crippled state where my favourite weapon couldn't be used with Sunlight Blade cuz of it being divined.

I joined the Blade of the Darkmoon and I ended up going into the fog out of curiosity, and that I'm an idiot. Killed the boss, got kicked out of the Darkmoon Blades, now I'm wanted dead by all and it's pretty much turned into a case where I really don't feel like I can move on with my character now, which upsets me a little.

I've always been interested in using Pyromancer, but felt like I'd be better off with miracles to back up, but now, it's really just not working out for me.

So, would anyone be able to tell me of a build with relates to using Pyromancer? I'd prefer to be a STR build, but if you can recommend either wise, I'd like to hear.

Also, how the hell do people get all this epic gear early in game? |:<

What are your stats?

The stats on my character that I'm using now is,

Cleric

SL - 75

VIT - 30
ATT - 14
END - 30
STR - 24
DEX - 10
RES - 11
INT - 8
Faith - 30

I'd rather start a new character from scratch, but yeah. xD

Nope your stats are excellent, your character has hope. Do you have a Zweihander?

It's not upgraded though.

Ok, try buying some large titanites from the giant blacksmith and go to New Londo so you can get a very large ember and some chunks to upgrade the zweih to +15. Then you'll buff it with Sunlight Blade. If you killed Gwyndolin it doesn't matter SLB is a really powerful buff too.

Yeah just increase Vit and End. Maybe you'll want to use a Pike as backup, lightning. And save Reah so you can get WoG. Great Magic Barrier is amazing too.

Well, I've just managed to get the Zwin, going to try working on the lighting Pike, I'll probably save Reah later in the game. :x

Cool your are set then. Don't worry on increasing Dex or Str they are perfect like that.

I was only able to get the Zwin to 13+ though, I'll have to find a way to farm chunks to get the lighting pike and the Zwin to 15+.

Anyway I can farm em?

Get the serpent ring and 10 humanity and farm the darkwraiths at New Londo. You have a rare chance that they drop a slab as well. Just make sure you have 410 item discovery.

By the way, this is how more or less your build would look like if you continue leveling up. It looks very powerful!!!!

Hope I'm not being too bothersome but I'm still thinking of also making another character that would use Pyro spells and as well as a katana with light armour.

Anyone have recommendations?

I can vouch for that. I used a very similar faith/strength build as you did. And now I'm finding that I enjoy my pure dex/pyro build more. And my primary weapon thus far is uchi+15. Funny how alike we think.

Kats scale with dex only.. Except for Washing pole which scales with both dex and strength... 45 dex for maximum casting speed!
You could lower your vitality and invest some points in att if you want to attune more pyromancy
