    I was thinking about this for some time now and made a post about it too but what do you all think?
    If FROM were to add a cooldown between spells would it make Drs better?
    In my opinion spells in drs can still be used as an easy mode in pve and as a annoying way to win in pvp, i think a cooldown would erase spamming and make players that base their toons on magic have to think more about how they use their spells and more more while fighting but as i said what do you all think??

    Kind of like demons souls with MP regeneraiton: A mana bar that slowly regenerates, similar to the stamina system?
    Wouldn't it just make PvE easier, and PvP harder?
    I can see the benefits for a mage that want to be host, without having to run back and forth to the nearest bonfire to refill spells between invasions.

    Or did you mean cooldown on top of the current system?

    yes, it should differ with different spells from the strongest having the longest cooldown to things like fire surge having none...

    I don't really feel like it's necessary. I've never been hit by any spell in PvP other than WoG and I'm godawful at PvP. If you see someone with a pyro glove out, just roll around a bit and they'll waste all their GCs. Count them even if you want to. As far as sorcery goes, I've tried using it in PvP myself and I've had enough people use it against me to know that it is incredibly hard to actually hit someone. All it takes is one roll and you are safe

    This. Its an unnecessary restriction on an already tougher to use element of combat. BTW GC and WoG are actually the weaker damaging spells in their final teir branch of magic, thats why they're fast. Your "solution" would have the lowest cooldown applied to the spells "spammed" most often

    I still can honestly say I've never fell from sorcery in PvP.
    It's easy as all hell to dodge, and if a sorcerer manages to hit you in a 1v1 setting, You deserve that damage.

    Sure, it can be used to exploit lag, but I've taken a blade to the back through lag exploitation more than my fair share of times.

    As for the PvE element, I don't care if they crank it to easy mode with spells. You can do the same thing with Bows, and I don't hear people screaming for bow nerfs.
