A question on Seath Empty A question on Seath

Post by HomicidalCanine Sun Aug 05, 2012 9:50 pm

Greetings, I was just wondering whether or not it is possible to defeat Seath without destroying the crystal. And whilst we're on the topic, does his health regenerate slowly or do you not deal any damage to him whilst the crystal is still in play? If you do manage to defeat Seath with the crystal still intact, there may be something different with the Everlasting Dragon in Ash Lake. It's a long shot but something to look in to.

I don't know whether anyone's tried this yet, but it's something to consider.

And as always, some nut's going to try and link it with the pendant.

I haven't actually tried, but I do believe Seath is invincible unless you destroy his crystal. As far as the everlasting dragon, I'm pretty terrible with lore so you'd need Tolvo or someone from the lore page to come in and talk about that, but I do believe their scales are their source of immortality, so I suppose destroying his scales would make him vulnerable like Seath

Seath heals instantly after being hurt, but it is actually just at a rapid rate. So, if enough high damage characters were wailing on him it is technically possible, but I don't know if there is a way to deal that much damage rapidly, also considering his AoE spell, and super fast healing.

Maybe if enough completely over levelled players all attacked on NG, it could be possible. Ofcourse they'd have to make sure Seath doesn't destroy the crystal himself. Might be worth a try.

Thanks for the input, both of you.

How much hp does he have? I think PW + RTSR + bellowing + SS/CSS or a SLB dagger could do it.

I would be up for this, but I'm leaving for a week tomorrow morning, and the time it would take me to level up and acquire my gear would be soul destroying for anyone waiting for me to catch up. Remember, it'd most likely have to be completed on NG, so pvp would have to be used to level up as much as possible, whilst staying in an acceptable level range to pvp.

What about: Bellowing dragoncrest ring, Crown of Dusk, Power within, Red tearstone ring, Channeler's Trident buff, Fire Tempest big grin Two or three of these at the same time could do the trick.

You would need a second phantom, the tempest take too long. I think SLB dagger are the way to go.
@Tolvo Yeah dont k now why I put bellowing in there when I used SLB dagger lol
