    Black/Silver Knight Shield Bash

Post by callipygias on Sat Aug 04, 2012 3:13 am

It happens rarely, and I can't figure out what causes it. Anyone know of a way to make the Black or Silver Knight Shields do their bash animation on purpose?

It happened just now as I was fiddling with my bow; didn't seem like I even touched L1 or L2, but maybe I grazed them. The last time it happened during a normal L1 block attempt, and that was the only time it actually repeated for me--it bashed twice in a row (that time was the SKS, tonight was the BKS).

I've done it with the Crest Shield and the Grass Crest Shield, I'm quite curious if anyone has any information on this, its pretty cool, but I can't seem to replicate it.

It's a bug that happens from time to time, I think it can be done with all the parry shields.

I get it sometimes if I block just when I back away far enough to drop out of lock-on range.

It has happened to me a few times. Each time I was doing something with a bow in my right hand.

I got it down to a process before, something like "shoot arrow->remove bow in right hand->exit inventory" but it had to be done really fast, too bad the devs didnt add this as a feature,(besides weapon specials) itd be brilliant.

I haver never saw this happen, or even heard of this before. Sounds like an interesting thing if you can make it work everytime, but I always liked those shields for parrying.

would be nice if the action was activated by way of say...pressing the L 3 or R 3 analog stick.
As well as keeping the parry implemented as normal.
