Dark...Sou...*dies*

Ugh...
I think I have an addiction. I've spent the last 2 days on Dark Souls
only taking a break to get a drink or to answer the door or something. I find myself
creating, playing & inevitably deleting character after character.

My latest creations are a SL 64 Sorcerer who I limited myself to using Magic ONLY!
I wear 'proper' Sorcerer attire, no DWGR & all that other crap.
I've pretty much sat in Anor Londo helping person after person all day!

Although it has been fun playing from a perspective other then Melee I find myself wanting
to delete the character but fearing I might regret it.

Next up is a SL 35 Pyromancer who I've also used for Co-op here and there.
But again... I find myself looking for a reason to delete it.

No other game interests me as of late and should I put in another game I find myself
straight back on Dark Souls. Either in the Forest getting abuse for using magic :/
or in 'High Traffic' area's waiting to be summoned.

Dunno why I can't just stick with a character, couple characters instead of getting to a SL then
making excuses to delete said character. I'm very OCD about everything in this bloody game! -_-

I know how it is, ive had tons of trouble playing other games. Now that we are getting dlc, its going to be ever harder. I mainly only play ps1 and ps2 games, if not playing dark souls. I'm pretty late to this current gen of gaming, and pretty disappointed honestly.

Play FF 9! there's other great games out there, I'm playing uncharted 3 right now and it's pretty awesome. The second one is one of my favorite games ever.

I believe this happens to most of us. I just can't really say a game thats more addicting to this and I can only compare DkS with legendary classics out there.

But now, multiplayer, I used to play COD, assassins creed, mortal kombat and a lot of others online games, now if I try to play again, I'll quit after 5 minutes.

DkS made most today games boring, and I play other only for story mode

Emulators are the way to go for me, there's simply no rival to Final Fantasy Tactics or Fire Emblem on PS3 whenever I want a Strategic RPG.

And the way I avoid "altitis" in these games is to have one and only one character.

LOL i have a lv 70 thief and for the last month i've been doing nothing but switching between helping people beat the final 4 bosses....again and again and again. i think i'm starting to get over my dark souls kick now.....damn i have a sorcerer to finish.:x dark souls consumes my soul lol

Sounds familiar; I only have two out of over 80 characters that have passed 150. Only 4 made it to 120, and 2 were deleted afterwards. I have had such problems as well.

OP: Honestly this has happened to most of us, either MW3 or DkS consumes my days which DkS mainly does. I play MW3 just for my friends on there lol. But instead of deleting characters just make a SL cap for them and get them to there and the gear you want them to have and done. Move on don't delete it. You have 10 slots lol and if you use all those create a new PSN/w/e you call Xbox's equivalent and you got 10 more slots rofl.

Atleast twice a week i dont sleep....i get on twitch and follow anyone streaming, i have fought several of the well known players. Im constantly hosting duels b/c i like watching good fights.

tried play MW3 a couple days ago. one match on a map ive never seen and it was back on DS.
