It was suggested to me that as I am newer to pvp in dark souls It would behoove me to attempt to play Without certain comforts I was growing accustomed to. Namely Grass Crest Shield, DWGR and weapons I could fall into turtley patterns with (I am a big fan of the estoc) I've also never really played with casted buffs (all resin all day) So I wanted to try to learn to fight with that time limit in mind.
A few notes. Paladin armor is almost garunteed Since I am not trying to break higher than the 31 poise and I simply ador the way that armor looks I would be loathe to remove it.
Falchion was reccomended to me as both a good weapon to buff and a useful weapon to swaping in and out of 2H during fights, something I feel I should learn.
A ring slot is empty as I'm not so sure what I will need/want there. I want to avoid using Wolf's as I am attempting to learn to cope with lower poise values. DWGR obviously omitted for similar reasons.
One of the first things I practiced seriously was unlocked pyromancy, I've always leaned towards casters in most games, and so Crown of Dusk is present but I perhaps should consider removing it so I actually am forced to play differently than I am used to.
All that said here's the build http://mugenmonkey.com/darksouls/?c=3707541184812705
EDIT: I saved the 16 STR version but it should be SL120 with only 14 strength as the 16 was a req for a weapon I decided not to use
Any critiques of improvments quite welcome. This build will be alot of firsts for me, fast roll, lower poise, curved sword, WotG and I'm hoping it'll improve my play over all. If you think theres something I could tweak to add another dimension to the build that'd make me learn to play better I'd love to hear that too.
